Bit of a concern here.....tiges are still a chance....they'll need to win all three.....Blues, win.........Dons, win.......WC, ?

They're three wins clear in 2nd........and will probably wrap up second spot this weekend. That leaves very little incentive for WC to play for...if ya consider that there is little diff between pos 1 and 2.

I have a feeling we're in for another final round of splitting hairs....unless we can pull off an upset in the next 2 weeks

...should beat those dons though...

thoughts??

Will all be irrelevant after we knock off Adelaide this week.

I've been in SA for a few days and many Crows are a bit nervous about the Doggies.:)

Nothing to play for?

I think finishing off the season with a win and playing for the minor premiership is something to play for.

As I have said in a lot of other posts. If the Bulldogs go 0 - 3 over the next 3 weeks then it is pretty obvious they don't deserve to be there.

Anyway Richmond will lose their last 2 games.

I have this fear as well. Can just see us losing the next 3 and the Tiges winning the next 2. Then the nervous wait like last year. Only to see old Turtle neck strutting around when they knock us out.

How about we worry about ourselves and the teams WE play, rather than who Richmond or Geelong play?

actually they do it will be good practice on the mcg just to fine tune the team for the real deal.

Exactly right and as the old saying goes one step at a time.

As i've said before, even if we were lose all three games we're realistically still a 70% chance of playing finals.

Nothing for West Coast to play for? Winning form is good form and I doubt they would rest up one week out of the finals.

Further, if West Coast need to win their final game to avoid playing sydney first week in the finals, tell me they wouldnt be going like a frog in a sock to ensure they get the 4 points.

West Coast definetly fear the habour boys.

On the other hand if we can't win one of our last three games all in Melbourne, one could argue we don't deserve to be there.

Yeah- but lets face it- the bottom three sides in the eight rarely 'deserve' to be there. Look at Port last year - they were poo for almost the whole year. The dees were a waste of time also. I'd just like to watch us play a final....don't really care how we get in. It would make the year a success, a good follow on from last year and a good stepping stone for next year.

I'm not saying WC will intentionally go out to lose. But tell me.....if you're in a side...that's about to challenge for a flag.....and it's the last game for the season against a mediocre side.....are you really going to risk yourself?...I'd say a lot of the WC boys wouldn't.......could give the tiges a sniff.....especially if they're playing for a finals spot

Don't deserve to be there?? That is hogwash. Every team that makes the finals deserves to be there.

I can't believe that some of our fans are stressing about round 22 already. Heck we haven't played round 20 yet. If we knock of the Crows, or the Swans beat the Cats and the Blues beat the Tigers, the final 8 is set. Then the last 2 games will be about playing for a home final.

Exactly, this year we are in charge of our own destiny, last year we needed results to go our way in the final round. Let's concentrate on getting the 1 win that we need, and not let it get to that stage again.

Whatever the makeup of the top six, none of them would want to play the Swans who IMO will be 2006 premiers.
