We'll cut to the chase here - Hawthorn have been perceived as blouses and there are players who have been rumoured as deviating from the socially accepted norm when it comes to their sexual orientation. Whether or not this has merit, or if it is a dig at their perceived softness and over use of feminine products in the bathroom, it matters not.
However, according to roy morgan research, this perceived homosexuality filters down into the support base.
Hawthorn Hawks supporters are:
Made up of 63% men
35% more likely to be aged 25-34
22% more likely to be employed full time
14% more likely to agree computers and technology give them more control over their lives
48% more likely to consider themselves a homosexual
13% more likely to find TV advertising interesting
25% more likely to feel comfortable giving their credit card details over the internet
18% more likely to agree beer is a good way to start the night
28% more likely to have been to a professional sports event in the last three months
18% more likely to have bought something over the internet in the last three months
I know it's just a market research - admittedly Roy Morgan are one of the biggest companies in the world for this sort of thing, but 48% more likely is a rather large figure for pillow biters in a teams support base.

This information also makes me question the background of Jason Dunstalls nickname of Bunghole.
Anyway, in light of these startling facts, I would like to canvass the opinions of Hawthorn supporters on bigfooty.

Is stating yourself as homosexual some sort of joke, or are Roy Morgan biased against hawthorn due to your girly men players (see: Ben Dixon) and your horrid fashion sense (see: your uniform)?
