I see that rookies Barry Brooks and Damon White won't be getting a run in the internal trial on Saturday because they are on "modified training programs".

I hope this doesn't mean that they've found the pre-season too tough and have already picked up injuries. I'd rather think that Port is setting the trend in avoiding the osteitis pubis plague that is bedevilling many players these days and is taking things very carefully with these young talls.

Thats why its modified....the new draftees don't work as hard as the main squad....they've been doing that for over three years now, I believe.
