Has anybody here got an Eagles Membership? I was thinking of taking one up this year, and would get it cheaper becuase im a uni student. If you are a member where do you sit and do you think its worth it?

I am not (my winter weekends are often busy with other things - Uni, work, sport...), but both my parents are and I take full advantage of that fact whenever possible.
3 tier stand, block 316 - behind the southern point post at the western end of the ground. Great view, fairly protected from the weather, well worth it.
this will be my second season as a member, to be honest, i love it
the atmosphere at the game is awesome.. i sit at around the CHF area Subi end (the side with the shade;) )
quite a good seat

i_luv_westcoast - It's a great investment! I sit in Block 106 in the 2 Tier Stand, which is perfect because it's in the middle of the ground and you can see the biggest video screen for replays. The only problem with this is that you now miss the boys who used to run out onto the ground from the 2 Tier Stand End - they now run out from their new changerooms.
If your a student and have a concession card/concession sticker you don't pay adult fees. I've only been asked to show my concession card ONCE, so If your an adult you might want to try getting a concession membership next year :D

Yes, i have a membership, but hardly make any games. Still a member though;)
When i CAN make it it is well worth it.

This is season #10 for me :) High up in the three teir stand. Great view, and nice and dry. Only downers are the distance to 'refreshments' and the slight lack of atmosphere at times.... Still wouldn't miss it for the world.
So definately do it i_l_w! Best investment you'll ever make :D
Gonna get one this year....hopefully. Still having troubles finding people to go to the footy with me :( Having friends that dont like Footy sucks....might have to start going as a loner....

Thats what i have to do, and of course it is STILL excellent. Probably not as good as going with friends, but a very good time is still enjoyed, i mean, i get to watch the eagles LIVE and there is no footy feeling like it!

I would recommend that all Eagles supporters be members. Even if you cant go to the games. Being a financial member of the Club ensures your financial support of the club as well. Just as important as screaming for your team . Where I work there are Carlton, Hawthorn and St Kilda Financial Members. You would think that in Perth they would get little value. But its a way of supporting your team. I think there is a class of membership for those who dont attend the games. This is much cheaper. You can usually buy walk up tickets to the game but I dont think as much of the proceeds go directly to the club.
I sit in Block 339. This is in the Roberts Rd Pocket in the two tier stand at the City end. I dont get wet. But early in the season the sun gets in your eyes a bit and it can be hot. The view down the ground is great. But the other end is a fair distance. A radio and the large screen can help. We are not far from the players race so can enjoy seeing them running out and clap them off. Being at the game is all about soaking up the atmosphere. This is a Medium price seat.
Go eagles!

Yeh I know what you mean Jod, thats whats putting me off becoming a member the fact I don't really have anyone to go with. I might see how we look in the Pre-season games then make a decision on whether to commit to a membership.

Yeah it sucks.....i really want to go to the games for the atmosphere and the whole feel of the game...so much better than watching it on the telly. Plus all the fine looking ladies out in force :D
But i just dont have anybody to go with.....but i will continue to ask around and see if i cant make it to the Derby in round 1.
dont worry Jod, you come to the game and ill shout you a drink
if youre close that it!! :D

Im not actually going to bother becoming a member now, to much of a committment. Will just go and see three or four games this year with whoever i can scrounge up to go with me :)

Give joining some serious thought. When the good times roll around again it may not be very easy to get a membership or tickets. And if you get a good seat you can keep it for as long as you like (except it gets used by some poxy Freo or Glory fan from time to time :D)
