was it not pick 5 (which ended up being Xavier Clarke) and pick 13 (which ended up being Nick Dal Santo)?

Pick 5 was part of the priority pick, so rule that out..

Not sure what you mean. The priority pick was pick 2 - Luke Ball.

Yeh and first round started at pick 4 which meant St.Kilda (finished second last) got pick 5...

So the pick wasnt traded to St.Kilda is what im basically trying to say..

Fair enough. Just Dal then I guess. I thought there was more to it though.

So the Saints traded Barry Hall for pick 13??? Geez they were lucky that they chose the right guy.

Yeah but Barry wasn't rated as highly then as he is now. He was damaged goods at the time.

not sure of the full details but pick 17 also went to the saints who ontraded it. i think swans 3rd round and saints 2nd round may also have been swapped
