Not good signs for the Bombers next year.

Hird, Fletcher a year older and not a lot of good kids in the seconds.

Even if we get the spoon this year, at least we can see some hope in our youngsters coming through.

Well done Ants, hopefully you win the flag and instill the hunger to win in our kids.

That is a very ignorant and stupid comment.

1. Bendigo only had about 5-6 Essendon listed players playing including 2 rookies and the rest other than Cole will most likely be delisted.
2. The Northern Bullants listed players are much stronger than the crap Bendigo bring to the table.
3. Most of our youngsters are injured and out for the year.
4. My last point is that its the more experienced Carlton players who cant do anything at the top level who dominate for you guys ie. Sporn, Deluca, Mcgrath, Bannister etc.

Mcgrath's played 16 or 17 games for Carlton, and Bannister has played 8 games for the Blues since round 11.

So how am ignorant... if you are expecting to delist most of the ones that did play how is that a good sign for the club? And if you have to play crud players in your seconds then that is a worry.

We have had our injuries too throughout the year and our kids have backed up and done well in the seconds.

The thing is, how many of those players bolded have a future with Carlton?.

Yes, bendigo have had an extremely down year, but it doesn't reflect where the Bombers are at.

Gee you are a little touchy. The result really did highlight the massive talent gap between the Blues younger players and what the Don's have didn't it. Instead of being so bitter, perhaps you should ask yourself why Sheeds persists with his top-up recruitment policy, now in it's 4th year, that caused the Don's list to be in such a terrible mess. Sheed's looks like continuing his drafting tradition by going after Aka and Gardiner for 2007. :)

The difference is that they're just 5 out of twenty two top players who performed on the day. The bombers best are 6 players who were still crap but were just slightly less crap then the rest of their teammates.

How did Hartlett and Bower play?

They were both very good in defence IMO, as much as I would love to see these two play a game or two this year I don't it really think it would be worth it, i reckon let them help the Bullants wiin the flag.

Next Saturday they play Coburg at Coburg City oval at 1:10pm so all you Blues fans get down there and support the boys if you can, if not tune into the ABC at 1:00.

You beauty, finally got this Saturday off so I'll tune into ABC... hopefully a few of the young blokes play well, Bower etc.

I'll be annoyed if I see Sporn, Chambers and co. running amok.

Half the players you highlighted are Bullants players, as for where bendigo are compared to essendon, last time i looked your beloved bombers where 15th, so how bad must bendigo be if where the bombers are doesnt reflect on the bombers. Some of you essendon supporters are so thick.
