View Full Version : Thankyou Scarlett.
Scarlett has kept Hall goalless in the Swans-Geelong game. If Fev decides to sit out the rest of the year he is 99% a certainty to win the Coleman.
We can almost officially say WE'VE WON SOMETHING!
I have never liked a Geelong player more, except for Murphy, Hickmont ;)

That is a good result. Hopefully Fev can kick another 6 or 7 against the Tigers and sew the Coleman up well and truly.
Lets hope Murphy can still win the Rising Star Award even though he will have missed the last 7 games or so.

Can Fev kick the 23 goals in the next 3 games to get to 100 goals for the season? He could kick all of them tomorrow if Hall plays on him.

I have this feeling that we could be witnessing something very very special over the next 3 weeks.
I have this feeling that Fev could kick double figures tomorrow , 10-12 goals. If he does, he is every chance to kick 100 for the season.

I hope your right stokesy.
Just one thing that I am not 100% sure on, if we do happen to finish last, will Fev became the first coleman medalist from the bottom side?

Fev had the Coleman pretty much sewen up anyway. Hall would have had to had an amazing final 3 weeks. Now that he has been kept goalless by Scarlett, they might as well give him the medal now.

No, John Peck did it with Hawthorn in the mid 60's. But only kicked about 50 or 60 goals, I think.

Cheers Lance, having looked at the history of goalkickers and the ladder I see John Peck did it in 1965.
Anyway fantastic effort by Fev, I hope he continues his good form for the rest of the year and for many years to come.
GO BLUES LETS BELT THE TIGERS.

I'll be booking a flight to Sydney if he is somehow within 6-7 goals of the ton come the last round!

Fev's ahrdly had a quiet day i think he's way better forward then Hall is
didn;t hall have a few goaless games which really cost him
i'm sure scarlett didn;t keep fev to 0 when we played em last time :thumbsu:

I think people are forgetting what a liability a dislocated finger is for a marking forward. He is definitely having problems handling the ball.
He had it enough to hurt the Tigers today, but wasn't especially accurate. Still, with an 18 goal lead, you'd think he'd have the Coleman sown up.
