Gee, 4pm football didn't rate too well...........do you have the numbers for the 1pm AFL Russian????
Nine is flogging the rest atm, Eddie will be happy.......even moreso by this figure-
Weekend Sunrise - 408k
Sunday - 304k
Sportsworld - 279k
Business Sunday - 176k
Good numbers, first time in a while the Sunday program has beaten Sportsworld, must have had some good stories on it.......
Idol did quite well and CSI kicked ar*e.......with some of Ch.7's big rating shows gone could Ch.10 possibly beat them at the end of a week in the near future?

Either Seven think it will, or they having nothing else to show.

Yep. It can't be around much longer. And rightly so. The host McKenney is just AWFUL! And all of the games are such obvious ripoffs from other shows like Spicks And Specks, The Fat, The Main Event, Rove etc etc. Viewers don't like it when TV stations so blatantly try to copy another show's successful formula. Spicks and Specks is so much better than this rubbish!!!

is Seven gonna give up on the Sunday night movie or what?
Probably not. What else will they put on?
They shouldn't have wasted the 24 episodes by showing doubles episodes twice a week. Now they've got nothing else to put on. At least it was getting between 0.65 to 0.90 mill viewers.
What happened to Where Are They Now? Didn't it get like 1.7 mill viewers early this year and now it's getting 1.2 mill?

It would be good to see the breakdown, because in Melbourne it was Carlton v Richmond, not exactly a ratings spinner, could have been one of the worst ratings for a Sunday 4pm game this year....i am not sure of the others though.

Doesn't help in Perth that they delay it by 3 hours. They even slot in a lifestyle show or 2 between the live 11am game and the 2nd AFL match.

Grey's probably rated quite well last night, but Ch.9 is already too far in front for them to catch up.

Grey's Anatomy peaked at just over 2 million and averaged just under, Cold Case down since it was a repeat, Two Twisted down 270k on its premiere - wouldn't want to drop any further. Shipwrecked was replaced because it got **** ratings, but The Dead Zone did 25% worse. Nine won the news hour convincingly, with 7 winning only Adelaide news and Perth both. SVU was played out of order due to classifications, but the second episode outrated the first after adjustments for Idol running overtime.

I still have no idea how so many people can watch it.
What also annoys me, is these "What's Good For You" shows that tell you the answers you're dying to know!. What, people are too lazy to research things now? You'd think with the Internet people could tap into this knowledge if they really wanted to.

Great to see Grey's Anatomy get good numbers - great show with great cast and excellent storylines. Hopefully, it get its well deserved awards at the Emmys.

23 Aug 2006, 12:41
Border Security got one of its highest numbers ever, and The Force held all of it. Nine did pretty well too, and Ten's new comedy night did ok, but was third in their target demographic in the 8:30 hour - which will probably be worse next week when Real Stories loses the extra audience premieres always get. The Jordan/Vegas crossover also got an impressive figure over it's 2 hour timeslot, but the 6 point win was nowhere near what Seven needed after their Sunday performance. Seven reclaimed victory in the news hour (thanks to Perth hating Nine) - news narrowly but TT easily
