Private online tournys?

anyone know how they work? for example, if i try and set up a private tourny for my friends on say party poker, can i control things such as the buy-in amount and pay out structure? also how much would the site get?

i'd like to set one up for my friends including a few interstate you cant make a local home game. I'd prefer to not go through a big site if they are going to charge us for the priviledge. Anyone know of any other sites or software that could let me run something like this???????

I'm not too sure, but you would be able to control the buy in, but I doubt the payout structure. And you would most likely have to pay something, as you are playing on their server.

But I'm sure other more qualified posters will help you out.

I doubt any site will do this free of charge. You might be able to do a $5 + $0.50 buy-in.

Remember that the dealers still have to get paid.
