Perhaps a good sign for Jolley. Last roll of the dice for Carts and Joel.

Dissapointing Licha didnt make it, from all reports he trained pretty well. Guess they're erring on the safe side with him.

Winderlich would properly play in the VFL which is a good way to bring him back

I would prefer to leave Winders out for the last two games to get well over his injury.

BLOODY REYNOLDS!

Good to see Dempsey in.

Putting Carts up against Simmonds, that will be fun for the lad.

Looks like they've made their mind up about him, one way or the other

If they were undecided, you'd think he'd still be playing to they could keep having a look

Does anyone know if welsh will be back this season. Personally i don't see the value of brining him back next week if he is fit.

Reports are that he pulled up a little sore as well ;)

Feel a bit for Jolley being dropped for Dempsey and the 3 stooges.

He's gone for the year.

Licha should play at Bendigo.

Reports are that he pulled up a little sore as well ;)That was last week wasn't it? Thought he was fine this week. But not to worry as long as he has a decent pre season and rips it up next year, that's all I'm worried about.

Richard Cole hasn't played like a stooge, not yet anyway

Just looking at the guys coming into the side and I see us getting our arses kicked ! Their are better players they coulda brought into the side but maybe they are giving these guys one last chance. I hope they delist reynolds and cartledge to give room for the next draft picks.

We are currently about 80 points ahead of Carlton on % so if we get kained we could be introuble. I have a feeling the blues will do well against the pies on the weekend especially without buckley playing.

I have actually had a bit of hard earned on Carlton this week. collingwood's form is iffy and Buckley's leadership is difficult to replace. Carlton look capable of holding Collingwoods forward line and my only queries are a) can they control pies run from half back and b) will they tank?

As much as people don't want to hear it this side was definately picked for a loss.

Reality is with Richmonds youngsters and lack of ability in certain areas there's always a chance of an upset.

Selection guarentees no chance of that.

Yep, because the blokes at Bendigo would have made a huge difference.

Lucy, Lee, Jolley, Lonergan, Firman and Winderlich returning from injury.

I would have played Lee instead of Reynolds and Lonergan instead of Dempsey, but that's hardly the difference between winning and losing.

There isn't a whole lot different we could have done. Injuries have forced our hand.

Well he did manage to concuss himself running into a Campo.

Granted that injuries have forced our hand but the selection of Cartledge and Reynolds is a bit mystifying.

Should give Jolley an extended run to see whether or not he can make it. We've given Reynolds an extened run in the team and he has shown he is not capable. Carteledge just cannot cut it.

Should have gone for Lee, Jolley, Lonergan, Winder who wouldn't have made much of a difference but its better to have a couple of goers out there then a couple of guys who are just making up the numbers.

Basically we are playing with 19 out there if you include Rioli - 18 if you include Bolton ;)

Don't know how much of Bendigo you've seen or if you saw the Hawthorn game last week, but the Cartledge decision makes sense.

Cartledge has been in good form over the last month and Hille was rooted at the end of the game last week. He could hardly move. With Fletcher out, Bradley has to play back and that means Hille needs someone to give him a chop out. Cartledge is the only other fit ruckman we have and as I said, he has been playing some decent footy.

Should have gone for Lee, Jolley, Lonergan, Winder who wouldn't have made much of a difference but its better to have a couple of goers out there then a couple of guys who are just making up the numbers.

I would have played Lee ahead of Reynolds, but that decision can hardly be considered tanking. Lee is going to be a better player going forward, but on 2006 AFL form, Reynolds has probably done more.

If we were playing Reynolds instead of a senior player, yes that's tanking. Playing Reynolds instead of another kid isn't.

I don't disagree, looked alright in his first game and in the VFL game i saw live. I just can't get him running into Campo out of my head.

I thought he looked out of sorts:confused: which isnt surprising seeing he has missed a lot of footy. struggled with pace of game and playing against taller opponent.
