Walker has been named at Ruck-Rover for the match against Collingwood. I know that half the time players don't even play where they are named (like Fev getting named on the half-foward flank) but it would be good to see him playing a fair bit of the game in the middle. I heard pagan has been focusing on center bounces this week so hopefully that will help him come Sunday.

Absolutely. He has had a breakthrough season this year and been very good for us. He's entertaining, he tries hard, hes very skillful, and should be rewarded for his efforts with the last 2 games on the ball. Theres nothing to lose.

I dont think its the first time Walker's been named in the centre, but hopefully he will play there for the majoritry of the game.

Named positions mean nothing. Designed to confuse the opposition (& supporters). Coud line up in defence easily. Whitnall was named at CHF last week but lined up in defence.

Would love to see Walker in the middle - but agree - Didak is the danger man for the Wood at the moment!

Yes it is, but that is something that can be addressed over the preseason. At least he's getting the ball and finally starting to have some impact within the club.

Good call, thats another area we lack in , I would assume Walker might be needed on either Rusling or Didak.

Or could the Bower inclusion be to match up on Rusling, actually Bower is the player we need to develop for those difficult matchups, which could release Walker to play a more attacking role.

I really hope Bower gets a game, we have nothing to lose by playing him.

If he performs well, will give the players & supporters more confidence going into next season.

Good to see Bower in, probably was due to matchup problems. Having a look at him might help us with upcoming draft in mind.

why russel isnt in to talk a faster forward is preety stupid... he hasnt had a big role like walker did last year to establish himself ... like russel to take rusling or didak or even swan
