Sounds like a good prospect, good height, a little under weight and good WA pedigree. Has anyone seen much of him in the VFL? What can we expect if he gets a chance to play on Sunday? Will he have a baptism of fire and take on Tarrant or Rocca? Could he manage? Any West Australians seen him play as a youngster?

I think he plays like Mark Nicoski from the Eagles ... tall and likes to run off his opponent in the backline.

Totally agree. i have seen all the bullants home games and 5 away this year. (Bower has been injured so he has not played in all these games) he does try to beat his man not stop them and im not to sure he willl be able to do this against AFL players so he may have to change that a little but it is great to see him get a game.

Really excited about Bower, from the very little I have seen of him he looks to be a player.

haha.
Bower plays like Nicoski in a KPP size. He is weak one-on-one and shows little accountability. He is also susceptible deep in defence. While he doesnt have Nicoski's speed or 60m raking left foot.
Please dont take this as a troll and abuse me. Wait and see, and abuse me later if I am wrong. I think you will find I am right.
Was playing great attacking football from defence in the Bullants side and his form was good midyear before he injured his knee, and was "knocking on the door." Since his return from injury, has been slowly regaining his form. I hope he gets a game to see how he stands up to senior AFL football?

Bower is a long way ahead of Nicoski talent wise. Taller, faster with better skills. Bower will be big enough to play KP and fast enough for stints on the wing/midfield. Looking forward to this debut. :)

Thats it Parrot, dont let those little things called facts get in the way of your personal fairytale.
Bower 20m sprint time: 3.08
Nicoski: 2.91
In theory he will be big enough to play key defence but he has the mentality of a flanker. Nicoski is the perfect height for a flanker around 188cm. Bower is taller but slower, more cumbersome etc

Let's see how he goes, hasn't played a game yet!
Was AA CHB last year and has grown a touch since drafted. I think his inclusion is a little premature but we ain't playing for much so why not give him a go. :thumbsu:

Weagles fans insecurities are a constant source of amusement for us all. Not sure what you’re getting so upset about. Nicoski will be a good player for the Weagles but is more of a mid-sized, mid- speed, endurance stop-gap Peveril type player. Bower is a class above, a fair bit quicker with impressive burst speed, and given his height, is a difficult matchup. I guess that’s why he went so high up in the draft. His main weakness is accountability – something he’ll need to improve on. Will be great seeing him debut V Pies tomorrow. :)
