No, this isn't true but thinking outside the square for 1 minute - would it be conceivable that the club would look at Rawlings to fill the "experienced tall defender" void we currently have?
Think about it
- he plays his best footy down back
- we need an experienced tall defender
- he is only 28
- could get him very cheap
- still respected at the club/good leader
"Rawlings cited a lack of senior opportunities as the reason he was retiring after 147 games in 11 seasons with three clubs."
If he was interested/willing I think it would be worth serious consideration.

He could be back coaching the backline.
Or we could draft this chick - I know who I'd prefer..

You blokes could have thrown her in the deal instead of Lochy Veale.

Hey local I hope Lochy received some sex education out there in the western suburbs. He left Box Hill a virgin footballer if you get my drift.
Binxy is giving us some in this thread.

I am not convinced Binxy How did she go in the BEEP test?
This thread is a disgrace and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. From her draft profile she only clocked up a 6.7 in the beep test and her vertical leap was less than average and on top of that she's obviously too short to be an AFL footballer! :p

I dont give a rats clacker about her beep test, is she prepared to do the hard yards for the players, supporters and club...

What position do you think she would be best suited to?
Forward or Back or in the Middle.
From all reports she is a ball magnet
Plays a little loose though
She is willing to go in and under and if required will also recieve out wide.
The downside is she isnt very loyal and is just in it for the money.
She would easily handle most positons but prefers the back pocket or forward pocket.

Apparently doesn't mind getting in behind either, quite happy to take one for the team, needs to open her mouth a little more on occasions, doesn't mind the hard stuff either.
