Use the broom
What will the future hold? More of the same
A team that has no discipline. 1/4 of the team out on the **** last week
Arguing on the ground amoungst themselves
Lack of proper preperation for the season. Was this being monitored?
(Has any other club made this mistake? I doubt it)
A lack of passion on the ground when it counts
Huge lack of leadership
A captain that is not up to it
A huge lack of morals and you know what I mean
A coaching staff that has lost the confidence of the playing group
Sure I am picking on the club. That is because we the fans and Geelong the club deserve better.
So Cook have a hard look. We want changes not just lip service

Any votes for post of the year? pfft i doubt it ... what exactl are u trying to accomplish?
1/4 of the team out on the **** - after a win i think u'll find that amount of players are always having a quiet drink no matter what AFL club we're talking about ... they weren't blind drunk u idiot.
Arguing on the ground amongst themselves? Are u out on the ground? do u actually know what they're saying? Its frustration mixed with constructive critisism - they playing group actually get on FFS!
Lack of preparation - yes, what have we done about it? Agrrr ... sacked the fitness coach? Der.
Lack of passion? Did u watch yesterdays game? Melbourne must b in serious trouble if we lacked passion when it counted - Jimmy Bartel, Lingy, Gaz, Harls, Scarlo and even Steve Johnson among other were terrific when it counted.
A huge lack of morals? Umm ... no i dont have a clue what u mean.
Coaching staff that have lost confidence in the players? Excuse the David Wojcinski decision and u couldn't be further off the mark ... if they lost confidence in the players then players like Kent Kinglsey, Tom Loergan and Steve Johnson wouldn't have been retained in the senior side for so long... and now Loners and Steve Johno have been playing really well as a result of the faith and confidence in their playing abilities as shown by our match committee.

Mate, at 10-10, two games out of the eight and 38 points down at home half way through the third, that's not when it counts. It was long gone by then - not the game, but the season. We haven't shown passion when we REALLY needed it, and you know it.
Where was it in Round 6 when Melbourne ran over the top of us?
Where was it in Round 8 when we didn't give a whimper the entire match against Collingwood?
Where was it in Round 9 when Richmond ran all over us in the last to beat us at Skilled for the first time in over a decade?
Where was it in Round 10 when West Coast charged at us from miles behind?
Where was it in Round 17 when, after fighting pretty well to get the season back on track, we show absolutely nothing against North?
Where was it in Round 19 when, again, in a must win game we showed nothing against St Kilda?
And, where was it in the first half against Melbourne. Good effort in the second, but surely it has the be early in the game where a good side stamps the authority on it.
No good showing passion when there is 6 quarters left in the season when we have wasted so many chances earlier on.
Fair point u raise ... however ppl say that its accepting medieocricy if we say it was just one of those seasons.
In my honest opinion, i think it was just one of those seasons that we forfeited the certain top 4 finish.
The reason? Our players got complacent - no doubt about it - we had no injuries for the bulk of the season, and the players we able to sit back and just assume that we were going to turn things around and make the 8.
The fact that we didnt means that this will not happen in 2007 ... the way the players responded to the majority of the second half of 2006 shows that they were trying to fight out of the hole that they dug for themselves earlier in the season.
I dont label their problem this season as passion - i argue that it was complaceny, and thats 100% debatable but thats my take on what happened.

Yeah. I think we can say that this season has been mediocre, and anyone that thinks that this is acceptable is wrong.

No more excuses.
Complacent?
Why would it be any different next year?
The team needs changes in attitude, and list.
It also needs a fresh coaching staff if not it will be more of the same
If you except mediocrity stick to it
Just because they play a good second half of a game with a slight chance to play finals you get excited. What about the bad half, and the week before that etc etc
THAT IS WHY WHEY ARE WHERE THEY ARE, FACE FACTS
It is great to have the club at heart but do not be blinded
Be specific if you want to if not dont waste your time
