Richmond vs West Coast - My Review

West Coast will be out to win, they WILL play a full strength side, and will want a win to get top spot. Richmond will want to finish off 2006 with a high and get the ball rolling for next year.

Simmonds vs Cox - This will be dual of the day, and IMO the winner between Richmond vs West Coast, will be whos ruckman gets on top.

Judd, Cousins, Kerr vs Deledio, Raines, Hyde - No prizes for who guesses the better midfield, but expect the Tigers to give them a red hot run. Expect Kane Johnson to go to Judd. Deledio will play well, against a side that is all about run and carry, i expect Terry Wallace will instruct Deledio to do the same thing, to see how they cope against their own style of play.

The Richo show - Probably will be the difference between the two sides. If he cant dominate, we wont win. If he can pull up 5+ goals, we might be in with a chance. It may also shape, whether Glass will be the AA Full Back.

I think our forward line is capable of kicking a big score, although West Coast often recieve alot of critiscism for having average backlines. I do not really agree, Glass could well be an AA Backman, and Wirrpanda IS AA. Having said that, Terry's Triangle will be hard to top again, and Krakouer may let off one of his MCG Classics.

IMO. Will be a great game.

It will be the big Staffs final game. Very sad occasion. I wish on christmas I could make it. I will have a tear in the old eye no doubt.

We were well beaten by Essendon out of the middle against Essendon, so if we dont shape up (and i dont doubt our potential) the Eagles could have a day out.

Reckon we're a chance though. Its in Melbourne so that counts for something.

thats the BIG factor as history tells us they dont play well there...with all the other ingredients R22 and all , promises to be a ripper ....Dont discount us at all

What a waste of time that was.

Anyways, I reckon we could pull off a win here. If we can limit the effectiveness of their midfied we are in with a red hot chance. Judd, Kerr and Cousins it sounds very scary but I was actually a lot more afraid of the Brisbane midfield. Freo smashed these guys and they haven't really set the world alight this year. If they get going they'll smash any side with that midfield but they often struggle to get going.

Anyhow if Staff retires it will be a very sad day indeed. I love Staff, he's been great for us, better then his time at Sydney I believe. A great career and a very good player. Shame he won't see a flag.

Don't under estimate Glassy he is very fit and strong so Richo wont bother him he'll actually enjoy playing on Richo IMO.

Hopefully we don't revert to a Richo-centric forward line just because he had a day out against the bummers. Wet toast won't give him the same space the bombers did or play a bloke still trying to find his feet on him. We need to keep our forward line unpredictable as we've been trying to do all season.

If Richo goes up the ground then Graham or Hunter will take him, not as issue.

The problem is that Richo ALWAYS does well against Glass, no Idea why but he does. So does Fev.

If west Coast come to play then they will win by 60+ but i HIGHLY doubt they would do that.

I'm always confident against the Eagles in Melbourne, it's been a very good decade for our guys against them at home and hoping it will continue and we finish off the year well.

Expect an ambush from the Eagles, they would be hoping to get through this game unscathed and get on top early.

Could be a week when guys like Stafford and Pettifer sneek under the guard.
Should have beaten them last year after giving up 4-5 goal head starts on about 3 or 4 occasions.
