Who do you guys think is the heart and soul of the Bulldogs? Who is the past/present player who typifes what the Bulldogs are all about? Who is the person who look at and say "that is why I go for the Western Bulldogs?". For me it is Charlie Sutton. While many people would say Whitten I believe that E.J is more of a Football legend than a Bulldogs legend. Everytime I see Charlie at the Whitten Oval watching training or an intra-club I feel proud to be a Bulldog and our lack of so called success in the past doesn't seem to matter.

All of them wore the doggies jumper with pride and distinction.I do not think its fair for me to judge who is the heart and sole of the bulldogs.Lets just say there all worthy.I like the battler type ones especially though and a huge soft spot for Jonno because he grew up supporting the team and is a local boy.

OMG I forgot the Hawk. I was going to include him when I was thinking up names and I just forgot to type in his name. I am such an idiot, the guy was my childhood hero along with Simon Beasley.

OK that explains the Hawk but what about Groenewagon?

It has to be Teddy. The man is the biggest legend to play the game and had a incredible personality.

But in recent years I always thought Steve Wallis was a great ambassador for the club. He was one of the toughesy guys to play the game and off field was always great to the fans.

You see how much respect the players had for him in Year of the Dogs, with Rick Kennedys speech. Behind Kinger and Mintie :), he is my favourite dog of all time
