What does everyone think will happen with Mark McGough come 2007?

Has been named in Casey Scorpions best regularly, kicked a fair few goals for them too. I thought he was quite good for the Saints in his 3 matches, particularly against the Swans and Roos (worse performances seem to hold their place in the side; does Grant just not like him?).

Does he have a future with the Saints, is he bound for a new home, or is his AFL career likely over at the end of 2006?

he seems to be popular with the playin group although they do bag the shizen outta him... doubt they'll delist him but you never no... its good to have a ball magnet up your sleeve on the list just incase we need him

I'd like to see McGough given another go. If he was given 90% game time he'd average 20 or 25 disposals. I think if they could give him more game time and just tell him to be an inside player and handball to our recievers in Gram, Montagna and Dal Santo. There is also the problem that he is unaccountable, but I think that can be changed and if my memory is right Powell never used to be the most accountable player and look at him now.

I'd like to think he'll be given another year as well.

We have a lot of ageing midfielders and a few spots may open up for the likes of McGough and McQualter.
