Alright Dockers fans, we have the first warm up game on this Friday night. Before this game takes place I want you all to look into form-guide/crystal-ball and pick which Dockers you believe will be having a big year.

Pick Belly if you will, but yo0u won't get good odds on that favourite.:p

The Crystal ball is a bit dodgy and me darts are a bit blunt but here goes:

T Cook
D Kickett (but then he does always)
S Parker (same as Kickett)

and as a ruffy (or maybe the crystal ball just cracked) T Longmuir.
I was really impressed with this guy in 2000 and as long as he's over his injuries hopefully he will have a blinder.

I'm thinking
Dion Woods
Mathew Pavlich
Troy Longmuir

and my roughie would be Antonio Groverio:D

From what I've seen at the Practice match and players that have to have big years to be kept on the list, I'd have to say Shipp, Koops and T Longmuir.

At the Practice match I thought Shipp looked alot quicker and less bulky than last year. It reminded me more of his first year when I thought he could have been a quick medium/small forward. Hopefully for shipp he can have a big year in the midfield/forward flanks.

Troy Longmuir was one player I think we missed alot last year. If he can stay injury free this year it'll almost be like having a new recruit. In his first year at freo I thought he did really well off a half back flank and have thought that he could also be used in the midfield. Could become the midfielder we need to replace Heath Black, with his long left foot kicks into the forward line.

As for koops, when he tends to play well, you know the dockers are in with a chance. After lack of form/injuries in the past few years I hope he can put it together this year. I'm a big wrap for koopsy but he'll have to have a big year this year, maybe a go in the backline could add a new dimension to his game.

I just thought about players who had been hampered by injury and loss of form in the past few years, and if these three can stay injury free I think they could add a bit to the dockers unit.

Can't wait till friday to get a taste of footy again!!!:)
Go Dockers!

Hasleby and Cook will be back in town.

Troy Longmuir will be an asset.

Clive was just starting to get his act together in 2000, so he could stun the opposition.

I'll tip McManus to have a far better year as he's Freo through and through and the Captaincy was a millstone to him.

No money for Parker, Jones and Bell
