dont know if this has been covered yet, but did anyone read the age this morning.
it mentioned that staff and chaff were retiring, but more significantly IMO was that gas and kellaway could be leaving.
now im not too fussed with gas, but i believe andy has everything we want. he is tough, courageous, takes one of the oppositions best forwards, our defence is shabby anyway and he has done everything right by us.
would by a massive shame to lose him and a massive mistake. he has also had a great year before his injury.
thoughts?

yeh this has pretty much been covered in the thread about stafford n chaffey retiring. here it is: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=265384
but in answer to your question i dont think we could delist/trade both of these guys. Even though we are an up-and-coming team our defence is definately one area we need work on (in particular KPP) and to lose both these experienced defenders would be a bad move.
AK played very well before his injury (playing 15 out of 16 games, and averaging 16 possies) and i think he should definately be given at least one more year. Gaspar would be handy to keep just to add size and experience down back if we could get him cheaply on the veteran's list.

I pray that we sign kellaway for another 2 years. I also think it would be wise to sign Gaspar for one year. Kellaway is a great defender and may have another 3 good years left at least. Gaspar is capable of a couple of good years. Everyone forgets how good a stopper he is. We need these guys while we draft a couple of young key defenders and get them ready for senior action in a year or two.
yeh Gas wont be a big loss however losing Kellaway would be criminal, simply need him there because of his toughness and his experience would be a real shame to lose him

i dont know who the hell you are talking about but if his in year 10, thats two years untill he is drafted and his not going to be a instant star, so what happens untill then?
As for those wanting Gasper to retire, some have some short memories, only earlier this season many were saying how you only realise how much he is missed when he isnt there, remember what happened when we had to play Hall on Gehric? He needs to get signed up on a one year contract and AK still has a lot to offer
