Great news for both player and club. He has re-signed for two years until the end of 2008 by which time he will be a fantastic player.

Sensational news! The read in the paper the other week on Grammy was a great one! Good to get an insight into his path to now.

Grammy is our silver lining for Aussie leaving. What if Aus hadn't given it away? ..... pondering ..... we're in a better place now with Grammy looking forward f'sure!

(I can't see anything about Grammy & not think of Riccardo over on the Saintsational site :))

Very true. ;)

I'm really happy for him. He's always had the ability but after an unsuccessful stint in Brisbane he had been unable to get his Saints career up and running because of injuries.

There are areas in his game that he can improve on so there's no reason why he won't get better and better.

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this. Could Gram go into the midfield and become a permanent midfielder? He is one of our quickest players and could be moulded into an explosive midfielder similiar to Chris Judd. However, he hasn't yet shown much in terms of his contested possessions and clearances which is the other area Judd is so good at along with his explosiveness.

If this was to happen, we would need someone to fill his role and if X could have an injury free season he'd be the perfect person to replace Grammy. We could really do with an explosive midfielder around the stoppages. What are your thoughts?

....contested possession is his big weakness....which should evolve over more experience

Congrats to you guys. He is turning into a great player and he is a nice bloke. I wish Bris had kept him.
