Who should it be, i reckon Harley but because of injuries would say Chapman. Ablett will definetly be the future captain and has stated thats what he wants.

Somehow i actually think Cam Mooney could be alright, might straighten him out and he could become a premier player in the competition.

Tom Harley. Does all the media conferences, well respected by coaches, players and supporters alike, veteran at the club now. Only problem would be injuries. If so, my other option is Chapman.

Whoever it is surely cant be as bad as Stephen King

Then again, after looking at the candidates.... :o

King is atrocious, give it to Linger.

Paul Chapman - Possibly
Tom Harley - My choice
Gary Ablett - Too young
Matthew Scarlett - Too quiet
Cameron Mooney - Suspended too often

I'd like to see Mooney given a shot to see if he can do a Barry Hall of sorts.

Definitely not Scarlett though, he's always blaming people when he messes up.

And as much as I like Harley, he's just too injury prone.

Give Tom Hawkins the captaincy. Worst list of leaders ever!!!

Where is the rotating captaincy option. I would love to see this, because to me there is no one standout.
Maybe Chapman, Harley, Ling, Mooney in contention.

Not saying he should get it, but just wondering why Cameron Ling has not been talked up as a candidate through the media or on here. Has he said he doesn't want it or something? Just curious.

Harley an option? Surely not...

One of the more overrated players going around that barely gets on the pitch..

Surely Scarlett is a monty..

i think he was being groomed to be the next captain, was named d.v.c. at an early age. his form slipped this year (amongst others) so maybe he'll have to wait. handles the media well

chapman should get the nod. harley has a bung hip, mooney is a loose cannon, let ablett and scarlett keep doing what they do best
