ok just checked out the new official demons site which is run by the AFL. :( and yeah its stupid. IMO. but yeah have a look and then let me knowwhat u think.
still the same addy www.demons.com.au
i never said stupid, what i meant to say that once u go through it thoroughly its not that bad, and im sure once the games start etc, things will look better. :p

i must have one of those slower ISP's that Mark Evans referred to in his message this morning. cos when i go there i still get the old site, hopefully that changes soon!

Thanks for that Dee it was worth a try, but alas no luck :(
Guess I'm just gonna have to wait till my ISP cleans up it's act (could be awhile,lol)

Dee, now would be a really good time to tell us who your wonderful ISP is. AOL you'll be getting a call later on if you don't get your act together soon! Do they have player profiles, list of club events, club news, photo galleries....any of that up on there?

my ISP is a local one in Adelaide called Chariot. and they r great.
they have player profiles, articles pictures etc. none r updated tho.
they have club events, games, a section called match focus, which has fixtures, live scores etc etc. club news, history, coaching staff, chat and pretty much everything. i have just received my fantabulous ringtone from there. and yeah but i cant find a forum so i dont know if they r having one or not.

Slow to open but then again the Sportal site as been like this for over a year, I think the new club sites are Sportal sites, very frustrating. The design looks O.K to me. I tried the Richmond one but still get the old site.
It looks OK but I have not got much time to go through it. But I have to ask, what was wrong with the old one? It was fine to me.

The old site was rubbish mainly because it never got updated. The new one looks ten times better already. It's been updated how many times today? A couple at least. How about the chat room, net polls? The old one never had those that worked properly. How anyone with a footballing passion can praise the Sportsview site is beyond me:confused:

i got the melb pic thingy sent to my phone - its sssooooo funny!!!!!!! it doesn't look like the demons at all (ok, maybe a bit...) but not too much!! don't get it, its a waste of money!!! lol

LMAO!! they had promissed us ssooooo much at the beg. of the season yet delivered less than half of it. i'm sure once i get used to the new one i'll be fine with it
It's so bloody slow! I've got it open in another window at the moment and I can click on a link on the official site, come here and read 3 or more pages, return to the Dees site and the link still hasn't opened! And I've got a cable modem! I can't imagine what its like for people who have dial-up!

umm yeah hate to disappoint ya but i have dial up and its fine. LOL :p
I clicked on "Contact Us" ages ago, and the page still hasn't opened (I wasn't going to contact them, I was just exploring). I'd forgotten I'd even clicked on it!
Well, if you've got dial-up, then what's my problem? Might be the computer. I've been having terrible computer difficulties lately.

Its still a little bit slow but its ok. I still gotta work my way around but I downloaded the screen saver so I'm happy! :D
I guess the old one never got updated but at least it was a club thing not an AFL thing. I hope they still put training times up there etc... I'm looking forward to the articles written by the players actually!
