The Kangaroos think we're soft as butter

Ran into a young gun Roos player the other day who said a few interesting things while we chatted.

I asked him who the Roos rated as the softest team - The Tigers. Soft as butter he said.

He also said the Roos hate Essendons guts, and that the biggest sledgers on the field are Geelong and Melbourne, especially Ablett Jr ("a little smart arse"), Cam Mooney, and Rivers.

He said that Jon Hay was on the grog every week, and often arrived late for training and missed team meetings.

I asked him who the Roos rated as the softest team - The Tigers. Soft as butter he said.

Lots of under-21 players will make any team soft. We are also the worst tackling team in the comp. I think this is just something we will have to get used to. Roos will recruit tough, slow, hard midfielders like Harris. We will recruit fast, skillful, soft midfielders like JON.

Have to wait and see who is right and makes the finals.

well your mate isnt too far off the call, cause 3 times this year we've been shallacked by more than 100points which shows a complete lack of ticker.

we will improve though and i dont mind having an abundance of fast outside midfielders but wouldnt mind 1 maybe two in and under mids to help take the strain of competition of our current brigade.

We've found one beauty in Foley and also in time maybe Polo as his abilty to find the pill and keep it is sensational. Maybe Tez will throw him in there later when his body develops.
