Stanton might do ok and get around 8 but I don't see Watson getting too many really, he's a solid player but didn't stand out a great deal especially in the second half in a team that won 3 1/2 games

I can't really see any of our players polling too well given our results for the year but i would expect Lucas to have done the best.

For a team who came 2nd last on the afl ladder I think we will poll more votes then people will expect. Every time Lucas kicked over 5 goals you would assume that he would poll atleast 1 vote even in a losing side. Think about all the close games we lost..most likely we will get atleast 1 Essendon player in the voting. I can imagine Lucas would poll well above the rest. Stanton will get a 1 vote every now and then and so will Watson, Monfries and JJ. Hird will poll pretty well considering he has missed alot of games..and I remember a few great games by Fletcher when he really held the backline together....BUT LUCAS EASILY

But we are relying on the opinions of umpires so maybe Bolton might get it.
