Maybe I am disappointed my team lost but it is freaking amazing how many losers there are who get off on bagging teams that have made the 8 but then are eliminated.

YOU TEAM WAS CRAP AND DID NOT MAKE THE FINAL 8 so **** off and wait for the ashes to start.

Shouldn't you be donating your dole cheque to the Roos, it would probably double their income for the year.

Love it!

Fans of finalist teams heap **** on the cellar dwellars all season. When you have another disappointing finals campaign and bomb out in round 1, its just funny!

Are supporters of teams that are still in the finals exempt?

I know it sounds like a serious whinge and I do acknowledge opposition supporters right to post whatever they like, however instead of gloating and posting absolute uneducated tripe please use the following examples when a team (that you do not support) is knocked out of the finals:

- Bad luck you played your guts out but fell short
- I enjoyed watching (insert team) lose but I wish (insert your team here) where half as succesful this year.

I do remind you as well that a lot of the Saints supporters on this forum (esp Jeff Dunne and DCC City West) have been taking pot shots at Carlton for the last few years non stop, so you can't blame some Carlton fans for being happy that Saints have exited the finals. Not me though, I wanted the Saints to do it for Robert Harvey. He just is an champion that deserves to go out a winnner.
I hope he does play on next year.

Whilst I do not subscribe to the theory of kicking someone when they are down, you must admit that a couple of years of bagging from a few opposition supporters will never equal the bagging your mob gave to us (and other teams) over the last 3 decades. If the internet existed during 79-82, it would have been hell for everyone bar Carlton supporters (& the odd Tigers supporter).

I hope Banger plays again next year too. :thumbsu:

Yeah I would agree with that. I could imagine the decade of the 80's being hell for Saints supporters.
Still in these moments of darkness, Blues fans can enjoy past Grand Final DVD's/vids. There hasn't been much for Saints fans to cling to during the dark days.
Mind you I do think Bay 13 is an fun forum and does clean up the main AFL board.

Your kidding, the 80's were sensational for Saints fans, lemon rinse tips and the Disco at Moorabbin, first class:thumbsu:
