View Full Version : What a disgraceful, pitiful effort.

I'd rather finish NINTH than to put in an insipid, gutless performance like that of Collingwood's display today.
Didn't want to know anything about the hard ball, did the Pies.
Time for Buckley to give it away. He was embarrassing today.
Well done Dogs. You were superb today. That's how footy should be played :thumbsu:

The Pies looked directionless. I thought they lacked leadership. Their best players needed to stand up when it counted.

Glad you'd rater finished ninth - you're so damn good at it. Play some finals and then you can talk.

:D Just like scared little rabbits in the headlights! Your guys solied their pants.
Looks like the legacy of Woey & Richie Cole live on!
I wouldn't rather finish ninth. We could do with some finals experience. Collingwood weren't able to play their possesion footy they love to play and their bigger bodies weren't really being used to their advantage because the doggies were running them ragged. They need to have a look at a few on their list and get some more run through their midfield.

Buckley would still walk in and be better than any other player at Richmond today.
Other than that, the pies were fairly woeful.

Hey maybe instead of bagging the Pies so much, how about we congradulate the Doggies on their amazing, gusty win and season.
They have an undeniable spirit the Dogs, and the respect and admiration that Rohan Smith is held at the footy club was evident today.
Sure I'm glad the Pies lost, but I am so happy for Bubba and the Dogs.

This is true. The dogs were fabulous today. Outstanding effort by Rodneys men. Eade has just got this side so full of run it's scary. If you stop their run you're 3/4 of the way to beating them. Once they get their run and carry game going it's incredibly hard to stop them. Ray, Boyd, Griffen, Cooney, Giansiracusa, McMahon, these blokes just have massive fitness levels. Great side even without a lot of players.

Too true, the Sainters may have beaten the Doggies a couple of weeks ago but on todays effort they would have turned that around.
Top effort, not enough Doggies fans strutting their stuff on this forum, they will do some serious damage over the next few weeks.

Finishing NINTH just means you just had more insipid and gutless performances than we did this year. I wouldn't have thought thats anything to be proud of.
I'm sure most Richmond fans would have loved to have seen the tigers play a final this year, just for the experience.

i wish we played finals. And if we did, and played Collingwood, we would have won.... again.....
But we weren't good enough. Collingwood were and I hope it burns the Tigers' players so they get there next year and not put in the same weak effort as Collingwood.

strange that a tigers fan would start a thread like this when they have only appeared in 1 finals series in how many years ? 10 ?
