Everyone talks about the 2001 "superdraft" but after doing some research, I think it can be argued that the 2000 draft would actually produce a more superior team.

Here are players I've selected for the respective teams- the number the player was drafted is in brackets.

Maybe the 2000 draftees are better than the 2001 draftees because they have had one more year in the system. Just as thought.

It's like saying the 2003 draft is better than the 2004 draft, probably because one has played for 3 years compared to two.

Yeah, but the 2001 draft have had 5 years in the AFL system. Should have been long enough to determine if they can play or not.

Stop creaming over it its just that 3 of those guys play for the Dockers.

Look at how many ended up in the Saints best 22 from the 01 draft..
