I fear that the Saints may have shot themseves in the foot again.

They have sacked their last three successful coachs (Sheldon , Alves and now Thomas) after just one slightly below par year mainly caused by injury to key personel.

We all have seen what happened to them after Alves and Sheldon got the flick.

This scenario would be like WC sacking Woosha if they fail to make the GF this year, very little difference.

GT is not my favorite person but anyone who has a win / loss of 55% and has gotten to 2 PF's in a row clearly has more than no idea.

This just smacks of a knee jerk reaction at a time of bitter disappointment and appears to have been not thought through at all.

He didn't get them into any grand finals

But then again he never had a fully fit list.

If kosi, both clarkes and hamil were fit. And Lenny Hayes and the Goos in the team its a different stkilda side.

They also sacked the messiah!! (M.Blight)
because they would not let him change the club.

Very very good list on paper, I think their window of opportunity has now shut!!!!!

The fact is they aren't, haven't been for some time, and he still played them.

That is almost reason enough to get sacked.

Pathetic coach. :thumbsd:

Yes, but 2-3 years too late. The Saints window of opportunity has now firmly snapped shut. :)
