I thought I just caught the end of a snippet on the news the other night. Port second stringers v Crows second stringers - Crows won by 15 points. Was that right?

What happened there guys?

I haven't heard a thing about the game but the phrase 'clutching at straws' springs to mind ;)

In what way? All I have asked if anyone knew what happened. I am curious because Port fans have told me on many many occasions before that Crows list drops away far more rapidly than Ports does.

So does anyone know what happened?

The report I saw finished with something along the lines of "The Crows supporters there were saying that they won the first showdown for the year".

There wasn't that much news on it except that they had to keep it short because of the heat.

The game had 11-a-side and was played over 2X15 minute halves on a shortened Alberton Oval.

This brief report & the game against Centrals makes me womder if Crows might consider Bock instead of Rutten if they are going to promote anyone off their rookie list.
