Should we persist with Watson?

A little from column A and a little from column B.

Continually persist on batting him at 6 and 7 when he's clearly incapable of upping the scoring rate, which a no.6-7 should do, is just a **** poor decision

He cannot bat any lower than 4

Doesn't score fast enough and we have an abundance of players who score slowly. Either he has to go the tonk or his gone.

he showed at the top end tour earlier in the year that he can bat. I think his batting is more suited to test's. But i dont think it is good enough.
His bowling doesnt cut it i dont think. But maybe he needs time to realy get use to his new action, he changed a few years ago becuase of back issues

Batting at 6 and 7 is where an aggressive batter should go. Not some spastic, slow batsman like Watson.

Was very ordinary today, couldn't push it on, kept hitting it to the fielder. His bowling will have to be better than what it was in SA for him to justify a place in the lineup.

mmmm **** with the bat, decent with the ball...cant believe we won though

his not a **** batsmen, just not a OD batsmen, he needs time to settle in and gets his eye in, but he can't come in and score quickly straight away. Against the world 11 we saw that he can score quick when his been batting for a while, he certainly is no hack, but probably more suited to the tests

Yes, as a ODI bowler, nothing more.

Still has work to do on his bowling

Great player, but that said, has no place in our superstar ODI lineup.

No. Batting and bowling not up to international standard.
In all honesty, I'd rather Symonds in the Test team, and I don't think Symonds is much chop as a Test player.
