Surprising isnt it considering we sold out the port game, maybe its because its friday night. Also when you seen how many fans traveled to the crows game you would think it would of sold out quick.bandwagon was overflowing last week now not even full

the wce game sold out and guess where they ended up? yep, on ebay. captured this; http://media.putfile.com/AFL-says-NO-to-eBay when a wet toaster supporter complained that some were selling over $250 for a $60-odd tix!

I think you'll find over the season our games were sold out nearly every game.

Same can't be said for Freo games. They only started showing up when the team started to win a few!

Settle down, they've only been on sale to the public for a few hours.

Look einstein if a team has more members, chances are they'll sell more tickets on members-only days?

Not as many general public tickets to sell to an eagles game when membership of both sides are taken into consideration.

Besides, the whole wc have more fans is hardly a revelation.

Game would have got 75k in Melbourne, now probably won't even sell out in subiaco.

Should go back to the rule about one final each round at the G :)

Would have flown over myself but Qantas jacked up the prices

(6:30)i checked it as well janiek... found that the "find tickets" option was available for freo's reserved seating, whereas its the same for wce and also their restricted view seating... strange, perhaps there was a cull of scalped tickets?

Yeah tickets are not being sold for the Dockers game through ticketmaster site but you can still get them for the Eagles game in Reserved and Restricted areas!

Weird, I wonder if all the remaining Freo tickets have been snapped up?

I got a tad burned by this strange Ticketmaster phenomenon. YEsterday my wife spent 2 1/4 hours clicking refresh to get tix, and was only able to get one restricted viewing which I was going to use. Then I hear on the radio this morning that there are 5000 tickets left. So I go on the website and lo and behold I can get two tickets, 'best available' in block 115, i.e. directly behind the goals at the Subi end.

So now I'm stuck with one restricted viewing which I will be giving to an in-law...

Yeah I am in the same possie Jetau I purchased 1 member Block-129 ticket on Monday and then I was able to get 4 tix yesterday.

Anyway... I was able to purchase [not me] for a WCE co-worker 8 tix, yes EIGHT tix this morning on the TM site. So much for 'sell out' ;) and they WILL be going to the game!

Firstly bollocks, it probably would have drawn about 50k.
Secondly, even that is only because MCC and AFL members get in for no extra charge. How many people do you reckon they'd draw if the AFL only allowed people who paid 60 bucks for a ticket? Probably 20-25k.

And I dunno what the situation is now, but at 10:30am only 3,000 tickets were left. Be surprised if it didn't sell out.

You're right dockersfan, I just logged onto tm's site and I could get a ticket to both finals.

Just shows how tickets don't all get released at once, they obviously get offered to sponsors, players and the like and the leftovers just get put on the market a couple of days later.

So much for the toast game being sold out.

I can buy this seat.... SECTION 335, ROW T, SEATS 15 TO 15.

Someone at work today reckons the WC Eagles Club have offered to buy any unsold tickets to make it look as though the game has been sold out.

Freo wont stoop to pretend support.

Lol. And Ch 10 do not want to show our game live.

Makes you wonder if you even be able to trust the official attendance figures.

It wont matter either way for me. I'll watch the Freo game sober cause I'll be driving. Then on Sat head out to my shed and knock a couple back cheering for the Bullies. :)

There's no way 75,000 people would pay $60 for a ticket to Melbourne v Freo at the mcg. Would be closer to 7,500.

That has to be a good omen, George tipping us to lose and the E-girls to win.

Thanks DF, can I just take this opportunity to thank you for putting up all those captures. I certainly enjoy them.

:thumbsu:Thx Ripper... wasn't sure if I was flooding this forum with them [like some clubs :^) in the forward 50s], however I knew there were a few that enjoyed them. Hopefully I can make it a regular weekly event for those o/seas not able to view local footage.

Here's 6PR chat from this morning, Georgie, Bobby and Basil; http://media.putfile.com/PreGame-Semi-Finals sorry folks the program I was using [beta version] crashed :( 1/2way recording when Basil was discussing about ticket numbers, so I missed 20secs I placed a 6PR 'stinger' so you know where it crashed and continued recording.

BTW, ads removed :) it goes for about 30mins so I've lowered sound quality from 30megs to a small 2megs.

Anyway, enough of my rant.

we know most docker fans don't go selling their prized ticket on ebay straight after the purchase. there's support right there, in their hip pocket not the team! ;)

I got my ticket first thing Monday morning, fearing that they'd sell out quick smart. I didn;t need to really bother, I think there's still a couple of thousand to go. I've got good seats at least, the left overs would be really shyte.

I was having a look around to see what was still available a couple of hours ago, and I could still get 3 seats together in the cheap seats. Now all there is are single seats in restricted viewing, so people must still be buying. That's pretty close to a sell-out. Hopefully there'll be at least 40,000 of us, and only 2-3,000 of them! :thumbsu:
