Is it just me or do no one rate us anymore? General consensus seems we are getting old and running out of oppurtunity.

I just can't see it, our youngsters look brilliant and I seriously think that we have the stuff to stay in the top 8 for many years to come, we got so much depth, a great coach and a well organised fotbal club. Maye it is my ias but I really disagree that we are getting too old and time is running out, I say its only beggining.

Be surprised if we're not top four for a few years to come with the depth at the club.

I cant remember the last time a side lost because people failed to show them respect, however you get alot of instances where people win because people fail to show due respect. And lets be honest, do you really care what people think?

Yes and no. If we didnt care we wouldnt come on bigfooty. It doesnt make me cry myself to sleep everynight but just a slight agrivtion every time I read a unifomed post about out club.

Adelaide were underrated and given no chance and little respect in a couple of other years as well... 97 & 98 i believe... lets hope it's an omen ;)

im my opinion our future is on display right at the moment, many of our champions are out which is exactly what we'll be facing in a couple of years and our young guys have carried us through to within one game of a grand final.. porplyzia, van berlo, douglas are reminscent of the situations we had in 97 with the goodwins, mcleods and johnsons

Agreed. Teams go down when they lose depth. We got plenty to sustain it ,our young kids really look the goods.

Terry Wallace leads the charge in the perception that we are running out of time with this squad.

Very much doubt that. Take out Goodwin, McLeod, Ricciuto, Hart and Edwards, not to mention Bassett and we struggle to make the 8. Now kids will improve and take over but the million dollar question is, can those kids play at the same level as the players I mentioned above. If the answer is no then you won't be a top 4 side.

For what it's worth, I've always admired the Adelaide Crows as a football club. Sound and secure off field, and always very professional on it.
I think you've got a great long-term coach and you travel anywhere with confidence, so I think you can settle in and enjoy a few more years of winning footy yet.

Good luck, but not against us in the Prelim lads!
