This is the best news I've heard for a while. Harves commitment and dedication is unbelievable. Of all the 40 players at the club Harvey is the one that takes the inititate and makes a statement that they are going to stay strong and that they're going to get on with the job. He is an absolute champion and will surely keep the group together. There is no way any player could look him in the eye and say their leaving now.

Harvey is the main reason that I wouldn't mind the Saints winning a flag.
He's a true Champion in every sense of the word.
I can't (quite) bring myself to wish that he wins a flag in 2007 in what surely has to be his last year (has anyone ever laced up for a 21st season at the top level?), but I am rapt to see that he's decided to play on. The events of the last few days, and the fact that he wouldn't have received an on-field goodbye, would have made it sad for him to go now.
All class, and one of the fairest players you'll ever see take the field.

Excellent news. St. Kilda wont be the same when he does retire. He's an absolute champion. I just hope he doesn't have a poor season next year and he doesn't have to retire mid way through. Would be great to see him go out in style.

Very glad to hear. Will probably have to be used in spurts though so he doesn't burn out after the first quarter like he did vs Melbourne. Will be a great role model for young guys such as McQualter, Gram, Goddard etc to look up to.
