I'm a Carlton supporter, so I think any other Board runs pretty well in comparison.. We couldn't even sack our coach properly and in the end looked like farcical fools. I think Butteress has done a great job getting St.Kilda on track. IMHO Thomas did a good job getting the Saints to where they were but, despite the injuries, I just felt he wasn't getting the best out of the side. Funnily enough, in last year's PF, if the Saints had've gone with the same team that beat Adelaide in the QF they'd have been premiers, and we wouldn't be having this discussion now. Instead they brought in players that weren't match fit, led and got run over badly by the Swnas in the last qtr.

The only way I'd vote yes would be if the coach we choose (Mark Harvey please!) is considerably worst than GT. Because otherwise why would we want to give him the flick? For one of the few times in our history, from an off field prospective, we are stable!

We're regularly turning in profits, sitting records in membership, about to get all the training facilities at Moorabbin upgraded to standards that will match interstate clubs and probably most importantly, there's absolutely no talk off folding/merging or any type of talk anymore.

So we'd have to get a real dud of a coach for me to want to hang Butters's in the noose.

well, i think questions need to be asked if you employ a bloke for 5.5 years then sack him....especially when blighty was involved beforehand.

I think Butterss has been just as instrumental as Thomas in bringing the required changes to the St Kilda Football Club. No matter how I feel about the Thomas sacking, there is no foundation for sacking Butterss.
