It would, look what we did to Bullies with a wet slippery ball. They barely touched the thing.
Wouldnt care if it rains or not but if it does id be fairly confident of a win in that situation
Embers, I think you lost a member, in your head. :)
1. they're reigning premiers
2. see point 1
3. I wasn't fishing for one our supporters
4. see point 1 :D
Oops.. hook, line and sinker.
Watched the 1st qtr of last time we met on foxtel. Seaby owned your lot in the ruck. Imagine what Cox will do. Has to be your biggest concern going into the match

As much as it pains me to say it I think Adelaide will win by under a goal. I'm hoping for a good game though.

To a degree, yes it is. Last time we played, Biglands and Clarke were so out of form it wasn't funny. Now, Clarke is in the best form of his career ;) and Biglands found some form against the Dockers.
I'm confident that Clarkey and Biggles will come out on top!! :thumbsu:

Understatement of the century there. Lynch was thumping the ball to near our forward 50 in some ruck contests. The ease at which they were won was ridiculous.
All the best for your team in the Prelim on Saturday v the West Coast Crims! Hopefully you'll be facing up to a Fremantle rematch in the GF!...I think facing up to Freo at the "G" would be a 50-50 prospect & a great game.
Anyone who knows Benny Rutten...please tell him to pick up Quenton Lynch's discarded glove when he's lining up for goal....& ditch it into the crowd! 1)..it would put Lynch off goal...2.) It would be very very funny. Lynch is a fair dinkum clown!
My mail tells me
In: Burton, McLeod
Out: Massie (also an emergency)
Not sure if douglas is also out..
Roo will play in the gf if we make it :thumbsu:

Your Cox will be flaccid. After all, we have STIFFY!
Lookin through the stats. A few interesting ones. Mattner has sucked the big one versus us the last 3 occassions, none of them have been more then 10 disposals
Last time around you actually won the hitouts  (thats shocking to say the least)
Scott Thompson always plays well against us and ends up leading disposal winner.

Would have loved to have played the Crows in the Grand Final. Top two H&A teams the last two years, and both years have had to face off against each other in the prelim's.
Good luck to the crows. And my condolences for missing out on a grand final in 2006 ;)

Sumich was on 5AA earlier in the week and he said that Thompson is a VERY under-rated player that ALWAYS plays well against the Eagles. For some reason he thinks that you guys don't quite match up well on him and he is probably right.
Thommo has been in some good form of late and hopefully he plays a blind against you guys and leads us to a GF :thumbsu:

Lets hope the two best teams play in the best game of the year today.
If Eagles kick first with the wind and we are in touch at 3/4 time I say we are in the box seat.
We run out games this time of year very solidly.
This wind will make the hanball crazy running through the lines interesting.
Good luck guys. Hope its a good game. I'll be hoping you beat Sydney if you get past us today. :thumbsu:
Don't y'all get too drunk now.

Bad luck Crows was a great effort and season. :D
I'm not meaning to have a go, just an observation... but isn't it amazing the difference of a couple of goals. Suddenly Crows have gone from looking like a Premiership side to one that just might be over the hill.
Good luck West Coast!

Opinions are like ****holes, everyone has one and you are quite entitled to yours. It may very well be time for a changing of the midfield guard.

#on the game:
losing patrick swayze was the first turning point. to expect clarke to ruck almost the entire game was asking for too much. cox is a great player and he killed us with his possessions, but the loss of rhett robbed us of a player who could not only bang his body into cox at the bounces, but also provide a target up forward.
after the wce goal run early in the 3rd 1/4, i thought we did well to get the ascendency back but missed a few good chances. burton missed from near, reilly hit the post, then macca nailed a beauty on a turnover, then bock hit the post again.
overall i think our movement forward in the 2nd half was poor. a combination of too much hesitation going forward, and our forwards lucky to be able to catch a beach ball.
and the fact that i think we simply ran out of legs, but for what many consider to be the fittest side in the league, that's no excuse.
we also made some terrible mistakes in dangerous positions which resulted in wc goals, edwards in particular.
#on certain players:
i agree that reilly will be no more than an average player. he's had 4 seasons of top league footy, and each year they keep saying that this will be his breakthru season.
perrie is in the team out of necessity for a tall, and no more. i don't believe he'd even be in the starting line up should he ever yearn for a return to wce or freo.
stevens got absolutely creamed by hansen. our marking defenders struggled towards the end.
i hope stenglein loses another GF.
wonder what would've been with trent in the forward line yday.
he's one player who can make something out of nothing and i think we'll miss him more than we realise.
#on prelim finals
useless stat i know, but wc have never lost a prelim final.
we've played in 6 and lost 4. in fact we've played 3 out of the last 5.
#umps
not saying anything except they bukkaked us.
#on next season
seems that to win the flag, we have to learn how to beat the eagles. i think they have the wood over us the same way port did. hold your heads up, all it takes is one win over them and the duck'll be broken.
hopefully our old guard can maintain their standards, the new blood can gel immediately, we won't miss trent too much, and the eagles finally have some ill fortune. looking at their list, it appears that they have a premiership window that's gonna last 5 years at least.
Hard luck guys, hopefully you can have a bit better luck with injuries next year and still be in with a shot at a flag. I met some nice crows supporters on the weekend, quality blokes they were :thumbsu:
