tempting but i'll pass...
Alright, noone on here is playing it seems. Two of my mates are playing tonight's event as well (we all have 10% of each other), so I'll let you all know how we go.

This man, is a true gambler.
3 hours until bouncedown and I'm off to get Red Bull and snack-food. Please oh please Poker Gods, let me have an upswing variance-wise during this tournament.
Should be interesting to see how good the field is tonight. All the players you'd expect (Raymer, Moneymaker, McEvoy, Hachem, JohhnyBax, Elky, H@llingol, twin-caracas) are all playing, so there's a sh*tload of strength there, but there should also be plenty of weakness due to the large number of satellite seats that were avaliable.
Alright, off to Caltex (I'm sure noone will read this before the morning but if anyone does, WISH ME LUCK!)

Good luck Frizzo
There's 2587 entrants with another 1.5 hours to go at the moment.
Just like a pokerstars freeroll. Easy. ;)
Should be around 4k I reckon when it starts, giving a $2 million prizepool, leaving slightly under $400k USD for 1st.
I'm "Cue-ball 66" by the way if anyone's interested in watching a certified donkey play poker :)
Well ended up with 4,500 entrants, a late splurge.
Started well, built to around 4k, have made one obvious mistake in my opinion, might post it in hand histories thread. Basically a stupid turn cont-bet that cost me 200. So nothing major.
At the first break now, average stack size is 3004. Here are the chip counts of me and my three (another one joined) mates...
Cue-ball 66: $3,385
BirdBoy100: $2,365
alexeimartov: $2,006
Filthy999: $625
Filth had an unlucky hand, AJ v 77, flopped Jock, bet flop, call, turn 7. He should've been able to fold to the turn raise though. But that's what you get for being a noob.
Welcome to the land of cold decks. Nothing that level, stole a couple of blinds, still afloat.
At the second break, average stack 4,620. 2,432 people left. Chip counts...
Cue-ball 66: $2,960
alexiemartox: $2,974
BirdBoy100: BUSTO
Filthy999: BUSTO
3 hours of play down. A bit of juice in that hour. Average stack 8,107
Current position 739 out of 1386 (pays top 600)
Cue-ball 66: $6,589
alexeimartov, BirdBoy100, Filthy999: BUSTO BUSTO BUSTO

Yeah, pot was big so I thought I'd try and take it down. I wouldn't have done it with Ax or KQ coz I'd be dominated if I got called.

Either way, people are dropping like flies now, and theres only another 200 to the money.
Once you make the money - things will probably tighten up a bit, and pot stealing will be easier as people try and progress up the payout tree.

Things will start to tighten up now as people get close to the money. Will have to try not to succumb to the tightness, but it'll be tough.

Yeah busted out ~ 800th, raged for a few minutes, and went to sleep :)
Pressure got to me. Very, very disappointing.

Thanks for the well-wishes Borg. Holdem's been killing me so far, absolutely hating it. Can't wait to get back to Razz and Stud, these guys are so bad. Saw a 3-way cap in Razz with a T up before.

Maybe its their 1st time playing Razz Frizzo? I know the first time I played it it took a couple of hands to work out I should be playing for low cards, not high:o
