Teague
Livingston
Deluca
Prendagast
Chambers
Longmuir
Sporn
Wiggins
Davies, Bannister, Russell are all 50-50
All of these guys have got to go. But is it worth delisting all of them or do you reckon we can get anything for them?

You might be able to get a 4th/5th round draft pick from Hawthorn/Bulldogs/Essendon for Deluca, and a couple of clubs would be interested in Teague.

Most of them are all duds! Maybe you could get a late draft pick in a hope that they will pick up some one good!

I agree - Deluca doesn't look that bad - I reckon you might be able to get something for him.

there are a few decent players in a dud team there, they could fit into a well-run team nicely............
Seriously..........use some logic. They can't get a game for the wooden spooners and you expect them to get us something at the trade table?

Wiggins for Ferguson. Straight swap
If Ferguson is up for trade this year, I daresay Clarkson and Pelchen will make another big attempt for him.

Russell has to go after only two seasons?
Kade Simpson only had 12 possessions in his first six games in his first two seasons and I feel the taller Russell has more to offer Carlton once his body is ready for 22 weeks of football. Not every player develops at the same rate and Russell's improvement will take a similar turn for the better if he can get off the bench.
I think clubs would have a look at Wiggins, who had a pretty good second half of the year. We could get a late 3rd round pick for him.

To be fair
De Luca will get very little. Was terrible yesterday. Difference btw good and bad is huge
Russell - should be persisted with. Suspect would be good in a good team. Carlton need to play him.
Teague - be very surprised if Saints were keen on him. Two clubs and same old problems with this bloke. If Saints offer something take it and walk away ..... do not smile, just be humble and know you pulled their pants down in broad daylight.
Justin Davies - possibly a latish pick. Has shown potential at times and young enough.
Rest definately nothing.
For mine Carlton have a good group of kids that can take next step in Blackwell, Fischer, Waite, Russell, simpson etc but need some experienced players who are in and under mids who might be at the end of their careers and will have ared hot go as well as a physical CHB and Ruck.
If I were a Carlton fan I would liek to see a trade the 19 pick for a ready made player or two with 4-5 years to go and get Gardiner in the PSD. Might also think about trading the 35 pick as well.
Nobody will agree with what 19 and 35 is worth but say something proven that will add long term like Polak at 35 would be about right. 19 would get you a Moloney type from the Dees.

Out of that list, apart from Russell who wouldn't be traded anyway, only Wiggins and possibly Sporn would have any currency. Probably straight swap for another fringe player, or possibly for late 4th or later round pick. That would be it.

I wouldn't trade russel. Someone allready brought this up but simpsons first 2 seasons were shocking. first 3 games didn't get a touch. He has somethnig to Prove.
Carlton will get minimal value for our hacks. Only one that might be worth somethnig is wiggins 3rd rounder.

May if you could combine all these players together a la The Power Rangers, you might have a star ruckmen, which you sorely need. But until those govt restrictions on sugrically connecting people together against their will are uplifted, this won't happen.

I'm not really one for trading picks but if Moloney was on offer for pick 19 I'd be taking that in a heartbeat and Polak for 35 would be a goer as well. Moloney is exactly what we need. Further I would swap Ferguson for Wiggins in a heartbeat.
Russell will not and should not be traded. Davies should be given another year.
De Luca should be traded for a 3rd rounder
The rest you can have for free
