Can someone please explain to me what is going on? After we beat Fremantle it was made very clear in the press that tickets will not go on sale until the Monday after we knew who our opponent was i.e. Monday 18th. I just got back from Sydney and found out that they have been on sale for 4 days!
I went straight to Bass online and it says only AAMI stadium members can buy.
I am a Crows Silver Member, can someone please tell me what I am supposed to do?
I am also responsible for buying my mate's ticket who is currently overseas and obviously do not want to miss out!

AFL changed its mind about ticket selling dates and made tickets available to gold and silver crows members last thursday and friday and then the remaining allocation available to the general public on saturday morning, from all reports this allocation was exhausted in 2 hours so they have ceased selling tix to anyone but AAMI members (who have not purchased their allocation) until after the W.C. supporters have a chance to buy tix tomorrow from 9am.
Any remaining tickets from the w.c. allocation will then go on sale to the public... This is when you will need to try to get your tickets, GOOD LUCK !!
The AFL definitely turned the system into a bit of a shamble...

AFL requested Bass to sell the tickets earlier. Last thursday 9 am tickets went on sale to the Adelaide members. Then tickets were released to the general public on Saturday 9am. 10,000 tickets were snatched up in about 2 hours. 3,000 tickets have been reserved for West Coast members. They will have 3 hours on Monday to buy, at noon any remaining tickets will be released to the general public. This will I guess be the best chance of getting tickets. I recommend though if you are going to line up to do so earlier.
I have also heard they may open up a bay or two from the Members due to the Port fans who probalby wont go.
I am not sure why the AFL did this? Perhaps they were worried about week 1 sales. But the huge interest by the general public to snatch up the tickets quickly suggests this was a stupid decision. Also I am baffled why Eagles members only get 3 hours. They should give them the day in my opinion. Nothing is more stressful when the internet and phone lines are down.

Festival Theatre Bass is often very quiet too, and closer to home for most.

Thanks for the advice guys, chances are I'll be watching from home.
Hopefully I can save the money and instead watch our boys on Saturday week at the G, holding up the cup!

Internet bass is at home, and there is no queue. Just log on about 15 mions before they go on sale, and make sure your session doesnt time out! No lines, nothing.

I got them from the net as well, took me 15 minutes though but I hadnt logged in so I wasted a few minutes doing that. It took me about 1-2 minutes to load each page.

They are on sale to the general public again NOW!
At the time of posting this message there are a few tickets left but no seats together. There are only single seats left.

I wonder how many tickets were snatched up by WC members.

WTF is going ON? Saw this when I just visited the bass online site just then
----
The West Coast Members' priority period in the General Public area will continue until 9AM on Wednesday, September 20 via BASS Dial N Charge, 131 246.
Any remaining tickets will then be on sale via BASS Dial N Charge, BASS Outlets and BASS Online.
AAMI Stadium Members sales continue as normal.
----
So why is the priority period back? They keep on changing everything in the last minute. Apparently there were only 1 seat tickets left so which seats are then available?

As far as I understood the 1800 that West Coast took was for their members and any West Coast members who hadn't booked by 12.30pm SA time would have to scramble to get the 1200 left.
Now i'm confused
