Been looking at your site and was wondering what the Hack Medal was for?

Is it awarded to Eagles who play a bad game or is it a medal for the Frockers?

The Hack Medal is one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time, but now just seems mean and stupid.
It'll probably be scrapped.

Basically I would've nominated one player each round, whom I thought put in a "hackful" performance.
For example, yesterday Kasey Green would've been the clear choice.

I came up with the idea during the Eagles v Port game in Rnd22 last year. I was pretty pi$$ed off with the entire squad at that stage.

Besides, there may be some big changes happening with the site soon. Nothings confirmed yet, so I'll keep quiet for now.

Buzz, I really enjoy your site, specially your match previews and reports. If you intend to do some changes I would suggest you got rid of the golden vertical lines. They look good on my old 15" monitor but with a 17" one and a resolution of 1024 x 768, they
overlap the text. If you want to know what I mean please have a look at an image capture of the index page.

Holy Crap.

I knew there where some problems when people ran their screens at different resolutions, but I didn't know it was that bad.

Looks like I've got some work to do. :(

Thanks for telling me Geo.

I've done a bit of work on it, and it should be alright now.

Just be patient with the pic at the top.
It's a big one, but once it's downloaded and stored in your TIF it'll be fine.

So how does she look Geonet?

I get this message:

There is nothing on this server at that address. You may wish to email the owner of this web area at busby@iinet.net.au. They'll have the best idea on how to help you out.

Did you misspell the address? Check carefully the address if you typed it in, bearing in mind addresses on this service are case sensitive.

Why can't anything be easy.

The only thing I can suggest is removing the 'index' part of the address:

Footy Buzz (http://members.iinet.net.au/~busby/)

Is anyone else having problems getting into the site???

It works fine on my home computer, but I'll try it out tommoroe on the computer at work.

No problems in getting into the site and now it looks much better. This time, no lines overlaping text on a 1024x768 resolution. The pic at the top takes a little bit of time to download but It can be reduced from 111 kb to 31 Kb and you won't notice a thing. Same dimensions and no loss of quality. Let me know if you are interested in the optimized picture. It's only 31 Kb.

Well I've got it working on my computer at work.

Thank God. :)

The design is still far from perfect.
I'm still fairly new to Web Page Design, and it's just a hobby at the moment.

Thanks for the help everyone.
And Geonet, I'd definitely be interested in that optimized picture.
If you send it to therealbuzz27@hotmail.com I'd be very grateful.

At first I thought you were being sued by the Dockers for that Leigh Brown picture in the Look-A-Likes, but then I realised you can't sue for true prediction pictures. I'm missing my fix of Footy Buzz!

You have to drop the "index" bit at the end of the address. That worked for me!
