Anyone watching this tonight on the ABC Andrew Denton Enough Rope?
Jamie Oliver is a very captivating person; in general I don’t have any hero’s or someone who is in the public eye I would look up to as a mentor but he is a fantastic person who if I had the opportunity would never turn down meeting him or listing to him talk.
Enough Rope would be the best show on TV at the moment and every week is just enthralling

Cant stand Denton.
I cant even watch Tench anymore after hearing denton was the brains behind it.

Each to there own, David Tench is a load of crappolla and have only watched it once.
Denton is irritating but bloody clever!
I switched after seeing this thread.
Talk about off topic on the week of a prelim though.

You said that Andrew Denton is irritating but how so; I appreciate that he isn’t everyone cup of tea but how does he irate you?
I find his interviewing style entertaining and informative and still allowing him to ask the hard hitting without being condescending to people of a lesser intellect to him.
I used to love watching Andrew Denton “Live and Sweaty” about 10 year ago on the ABC.
I do watch enough rope, not regularly.
don't really know why i find him annoying though, but always have.
And hated Live and sweaty too.

Never liked Denton until Enough Rope. He just manages to get some things out of his interviewees that others wouldn't have a chance of IMO.

I have a lot of deaf friends and they say that Jamie Oliver is impossible to lip read. Hence, they can't stand him.
Myself, I enjoy his shows when there is no relevant sporting event on. :cool:

as long as you are not naive enough to take him at face value, then he can be entertaining.
I've never heard anyone with a bad word to say about him personally, but his crusades are very cynical exercises.
