Lucas will poll the most by a street Id imagine. Stanton and Watson to fill up the trifecta for us.

TBO, if watson was to poll 10+, he would end up polling the most for us.

Lucas will get around 10, hird around the 6-10.

Obviously the team that wins ussualy gets votes as their players are the more influential. Therefor, i don't reckon we'll get many votes. The votes we do get will be spread around a fair bit.

Something like this:
Watson 8
Lucas 8
Hird 7
Stanton 6

Hird will get the most votes umpires realise the value Hird has on a match and tends to always poll well.

True.

Then again, he missed a fair amount of games (although when he did play, HE PLAYED).
It'll be interesting.

its amazing how many votes hird can poll in so few games, in 03 he wa sin the top 5 of the brownlow and only played 13, imagin if he played every game that year

Yeah it's fair to say that he would have another brownlow sitting around his Neck, but it wasn't to be.

I can't see Watson polling a great deal, although he was fantastically consistent this year but with his style of play he won't be noticed by the umps too often imo.

Lucas
Hird
Stanton
Watson

I agree I see Watson polling in maybe 3-4 games getting 1-2 votes.
Will be lucky to get over 5 I would say

I know shattering isn't it.
Was only 3 votes away from Roo, Bucks and Goodes. It was some of the best footy I'd seen him play. If he had had a full season, he would have had the Brownlow in the bag.
Then again, if he had had full seasons a lot during his career, I dare say he'd have a few more Brownlows aswell.

But if he never got that close in that brownlow i wouldn't of thought otherwise. I wasn't expecting him to get close to them. Your right, imagine he did play say 16-17 games even, he would've won that brownlow no doubt.

The amazing thing is the amount of votes he gets. Just shows how influential he is on the ground. What a champion! :D
