just a thought with the third one - did it take you a long time to decide whether to put the picture on the front or on the back, forward or back, forward or back.........................

Sam Lord (the Lions PR guy) mentioned these very shirts to me today. I owned up as the creator.

Man I'm going down to Melbourne for the Essendon 'top of the table' clash. That would be a ripper to wear to it! Are these T shirts actually real, or just at the idea stage? Bugger it if somebody emailed me a high res pic of strawb I could do my own!

I'd just like to point out the brilliance of that post.

Yeah, i'd take a #4 and a #2 please. I can wear one when he's hot, and one when he's not.:D
CafePress do one-off's or a handfull if you wanted to set them up. http://www.cafepress.com/cp/customize/
The quality isn't too bad, and there's no risk of printing too many. There might be more local alternatives, but these guys have been around a long time. Got some cups and a few tshirts done through them about 5 years ago now.
You'd just need files with a bit more resolution than the ones in this thread.

Yeah, must admit, if the Mal one was done nicely it would have some appeal. Maybe done on the maroon? http://www.cafepress.com/cp/customize/product.aspx?clear=true&no=152#

I've sent them a query about the print on the back. I'd get one.

Two thumbs up Browndog, I'd nominate no. 4 as my favourite.
Would have gone for no. 2 last season but (and I don't want to jinx him!) it hasn't seemed quite as fitting so far this season :)

The ppl at cafepress.com got back to me:
Thank you for contacting CafePress.com!
Yes, you do have the option to print on the front and back of most of our t-shirts. However, you do not have the option to print on the back of the following t-shirts: Dark T-Shirts, Tank Tops, Camisole, and the Infant Body Suit.
If there is anything else I can do for you please let me know.
So i dont think we could have it on the back of the maroon shirt. But the white would still be ok, and they're much cheaper too.
I'm almost ready to put my order through and I'm happy to put an order through for extra one's for anyone else. I'd just need a high res image of strawb.
Let me know if you're interested.

If someones got a decent resolution photo I can have a stab at my end at it.

hate to be the cold water splasher here but before anyone does anything you need to check out copyright laws ie use of the photo etc etc.

Thats the only reason I haven't made them LL.
1) Perhaps Scott522 or one of the other photographers has a suitable strawb pic that they are happy to offer?
2) 'Acceptable use' comes into play. If you're making the shirts for personal use only, and not deriving any form of profit or gain from their production, you're highly unlikely to attractive any copyright attention.
Worst possible case scenario: A cease and desist letter.
If you come in here advertising a line of Tees, you might start to draw some attention.
A small credit line under the photo wouldn't go astray either, proving you're not trying to claim the work as your own and acknowledging the copyright owner.

yes that's the go, but if anyone has a photo that would do the job as well (this one is such a brilliant one!, or does anyone know the source and we can try going that route), I am happy to organise the shirts and we can get the BF logo on there as well and combine with our Jam Donuts football team.
here's a variation...
