When we were losing cuzz ordered sumich to put him in the middle.

Cox cousins and judd then proceeded to stay in the middle (along with one 'extra' ussually butler or stinga) and we dominated clearances, when they rested and changed to seaby, fletcher etc. we got owned.

I love this gameplan because it gives me so much confidence, stinger works great defensively and so do butler and kerr and it ussually ends up as a good play.

Here is a simple formula
u = idiot

players need to have rests, cant keep them on the ball all game..

Who told you he said that to Suma ?
Cuz often plays as a half forward flanker.

I think you should read the post before commenting. When did i say they shouldn't or didn't need to be rested????

And i think it might have been gossage who reported that cousins talked to sumich to be moved but i might be wrong on this one.

Try this formula: you + you not reading + you replying to post = showing how unintelligent you really are.

Yeah Gossage reported that Cousins asked to be stuck in the middle, I heard that too.

As to whether Gossage was right or not, who knows?

As to whether Gossage was right or not, who knows?Yeah i wasn't sure wether to believe him. I remember in that shane crawford documentary they did that shane moved himself into defence without coaches orders and cause all sorts of havoc but sometimes senior players need to show inituative. Like kirk last night moving onnto bell or something (not sure if it was him or coach but commentators seem to think it was him)

Does anyone think it might be worthwhile playing Lynch further up the ground this week? He is bloody hard to tackle, can deliver the ball long, and I'm just not sure if he's going to get many opportunities at FF. Not for the whole game, similar to what he did today.

Only thing that made me comfortable was that final siren.

I think Lynch is a damn fine CHF with his long kicks and improved marking but I don't know if it's his go for long periods since Hansen is better there.

If we can spare him put chick up forward in the grand final to work behind lynches hard leads, he has a strong body and pressense and can kick quite well.

No doubt that Seaby is also another must against Sydney as he can help with the ruck and go foward. Also Lynch should aim to take his marks 40m out from goal as that's his best range.

With Lynch, Hansen and Hunter and maybe Chick our foward line is looking very good. Much more confident this year thats for sure.
I believe we should and can beat Sydney this week esp with Hansen, Seaby, Kerr and Embley who didnt play in the QF which if they had I believe we would have won.

Not for the whole game, similar to what he did today.I noticed that when he did lead further up the ground and gather kicks falling short that he was charging through tackled with ease but i think it helps when he's going full pace, he could play through the middle but i'm not so sure about the stoppages, i think he should push frorward again.
