Well done to heidelberg on winning the flag and bad luck to bundoora who went undefeated all year to lose in the grand final - was weird as both teams played well kicking into the wind and there were times where i thought bundoora would run away with it but heidelberg fought back all the time
Dale Nolan Was Best on Ground And the high st wing has been named the Russel Lee Wing as a dozen Heidelberg fans were saying
Michael Mitchell Played well i thought as did trev croughan and Hall,Trew played well And Dean dominated - Shearer Kicked 5 And was good
Once again well done heidelberg
Put your own thoughts in on the game

Definately the best granny I have ever seen from a Heidelberg point of view, at 1/4 time we looked gone but the second quarter was brilliant and set the tone for the rest of the game. Matty Laing or Luke Trew were best on for mine, Matty did not rack up heaps of the footy but his effort all day was outstanding and defensive pressure was gutsy. Followed closely in the BOG stakes were Russel Lee, Marcus Dean and the last quarter wonder in Dale Nolan. With honourable mentions to Stinger Harvey, Craig Shearer & Vinnie Dattoli.

yeah, still celebrating.
bundoora lost it on thursday night at selection when they pannicked and picked Fitzgerald (at best a Div.2 player) and Carmichael (too old and slow, and when did he last play in the seniors) omitting Simmons (can kick goals) and Attard (god gutsy player). At least Simmons and Attard have premiership medels - shades of the Croughan omission a couple of years back.
Compare that to Heidelberg who resisted the temptation to pick an underdone Gay and stuck with the team ethos.
