Is that possibly one of the worst chokes of recent times?
Make no mistake, my team is gonna cop it and rightfully so, we choked in the prelim again. There I said it.
I can't handle losing in pre-lims, don't know how I would go if my team lost a Grand Final.
If it happens 2 successive years for the Eagles, they will be forever known as Grand Final chokers.
Will be interesting to see what happens.

IMO no The word Choker is starting to get over used West Coast is a great team. I dont reguard the Crows as Chokers they just got over run by a great young team.Dont worry mate your team will be there next year.
Yeh I hate the choker word as well...easy to get sucked into that line of thinking.
I thought the word used to be 'losing' or something. ;)

Choking?? By four points? Nah I don't agree. Collingwood in 2003 now THAT was choking. If west Coast get done by 60 or more points then they will be choking.
FWIW Sydney by 2-3 goals in another close one.
Sydney ONCE AGIN - NO CHANGE - unbelieveable luck with injuries. Sydney are probably more likely have the 4th or 5th best 22 but with no injuires will win flags as they are doing.

Sure is...but only by groups of feral fans that have been under achievers most of their lives. They love to bag top sides whenever they lose. Did Fremantle choke?...No way ..they fought out the game but were beaten by a better side.

Hey people this is a game of football that we all enjoy as patriotic fans....let's enjoy the game, by all means celebrate the wins and feel disappointed when they lose....but then get on with life!!

here we go again. since you seem so bothered by who i choose to support, here are some points to remember.
1. collingwood are a second team. i have supported the eagles most of my life.
2. i chose to define the fact that i also support collingwood for the sake of this forum because people who dont admit to being biased towards a team (or against it) piss me off
3. yes. if the eagles won the flag, i would say my team won the flag. if collingwood won it, i would be overjoyed for them but would never lay claim to them as 'my team'
4. 'my team' is in the grandfinal. yours isnt.
