After clearly favouring West Coast and Sydney in their finals on the weekend, which team are the umps gonna wanna win the Grand Final?

I reckon theyll go for West Coast this time judging by the number of pathetic decisions in the Crows vs Eagles match and the fact they love their midfield.

Clearly favouring West Coast on the weekend????? Dont be a sore loser mate, everyone's talking about how the umpires favoured Adelaide but they still weren't good enough.
West Coast were robbed of 2 goals that was rightfully ours! Both were touched after they went over the line, yet strangely were not treated as goals.

Having said that, teh Umps will favour Sydney on Saturday.....no doubt!

Im not being a sore loser cos i didnt say it was the reason we lost, I, along with many others, just believe we got a rough deal as usual from the umps.

In reference to your other point, 1 of them was over the line and 1 wasnt i think, but thats beside the point cos i wasnt talking bout goal umpires. How do you explain stenglein's free kick at the end of the match? or the 50m in the 3rd quarter where we didnt go over the mark or touch your player? or the numerous times a west coast player dropped the ball when tackled?

no offence mate, but although Adelaide shouldn't have let West Coast back in to the game. West Coast clearly got an armchair ride by the umps. Thats the general opinion of everyone I've spoken too after tha game.

It's not the reason Adelaide lost. We simply have trouble against West Coasts midfield and Matty Clarke couldn't keep down 2 ruckman most of the game. That's football

No one. You find that the umpires umpire the Grannie different. Last year the perfect case. I thought the umpiring was fantastic. They paid the obvious ones and let the 50/50 ones go. I just wish all umpires umpired like this week in week out.

They'll try to be impartial as always, but i'm sure Sydney will again get away with numerous HTB decisions where they lie on the ball, happens all the time, and the eagles midfield generally get a few soft frees. Lynch and Hall will again be crucified, as has happened for most of the year.

Well i reckon the eagles will get more free kicks, due to the fact that we have the ball in contested situations more often. If we get favoured as well, great!!

While some decisions were poor in the adelaide game, the 50m penalty was spot on as he was about 5m in front of the mark harassing the player after being warned by the field umpire. Correct me if that is not good enough reason to give away 50

What a load of crap. I watched the game, and they did not favour WC. Do you realise the crows kicked 1 more goal from free kicks than the Eagles did?

You lost, enough with the pathetic excuses.

nice :) i knew there would be a thread grizzling about the umpiring by now. seems it's the only reason they win... because, of course, it couldn't possibly be that they were the slightly better team on the day, now, could it?

You knew there'd be a thread grizzling about the umpiring tends to suggest that you that that the Eagles got favoured.

Nah it's just with all the other whinging going on by Crow supporters that it wasn't long before the the bad umpiring whinge started.

Oh yes we got handed our place in The Grand Final on a silver platter!! We didn't have to work hard for it!

no, actually, i worked out that sore losers like yourself would eventually run out of excuses. this means that due to severe lack of originality, they fall back on the umpiring excuse. because its very likely the eagles were favoured at adelaide's home ground. its even more obvious that the eagles are only in the grandfinal because of umpiring. of course, we are all so silly to not realise this conspiracy.

I was wondering this the other night. As much as I hate to say it, I think West Coast will be given the 'fairer go' this time.

Wasn't the final free kick tally in the Crows-Eagles game 18-17 the Eagles way? Hmmm, yeah, that's favouritism at its worst. :p

I love how West Coast fans are saying they'll favour Sydney when in every recent West Coast v Sydney game it has been exactly the opposite.

Boo fn hoo the Eagles play at home and people scream the umps favoured them because of the crowd noise , Eagles play in front of 50,000 at Adelaide ,and guess what Crows supporters think the Eagles were favoured again. Get over it ,your team were beaten by a better side on the day........:D
