What if Jolly misses the game and the Swans lose by a point after being smashed in the ruck all day.

Jolly then gets axed from the team for not fitting into the 'Bloods' team mindset and ethos, and struggles to find work after this.

Darren then swings into a downward spiral, drinking heavily and working at a service station and some security work on the weekend. Whilst doing this security work he takes out his agression on young clubbers who constantly antagonise him with taunts of "Hey that's Darren Jolly, the loser who cost Sydney the Grand Final, what a loser" until one night he kills a man, not older than 18.

Darren is locked away, missing the majority of his son's youth - his wife moves on and remarries while Darren is in some squalid Federal Prison, where he is taunted and beaten by the screws, Sydney Swans fans. Darren's son is at first constantly asking "where's Daddy" but in time he grows to accept his new step father as his male role model.

Darren is then found in his cell, alone, with a shoelace around his neck. Swinging lifelessly with a message carved in to his arm with a stanley knife simple stating "I should have played"

Imo, taking the aabove into account, if Darren doesn't play this weekend, the result for his family could be disastrous. Do it for your son Darren.

I'm completely sold. I thought it was an ok decision at the time, but now I'm appalled he'd even consider treating his family like that

That, and "is a distraction to others, has potential but lacks motivation - often caught playing with himself" why?

rj - do you see him ending up in a prison like that in the SBS show Oz?

He'd get a lot of holding the ball decisions against him and spend a lot of time going down in the ruck.

I picture that almost exactly, he is fresh meat in Emerald City - until he get's sodomized by a gang of large black men.

As LU said, it's appalling that Jolly can consider putting his family through all this, just over his selfish desire to see his wife shoot a spawn out.

Good to see we're on the same page.

Remember Episode 1? Imagine Jolly having the same sort of first day in there as Tobias Beecher had, except that he gets mixed up with a WCE supporting white supremacist.

Last scene Jolly in agony trapped on his bunk as the white supremacist is burning a brand of an eagle's head into his buttock with a cigarette...

Doubt it, I would hardly be expecting that guy to have many STD's - hard to get sexually transmitted diseases when you can't find your pe... you know, your.. um, thingy.

And it's all happening because he didn't play in the GF.

And it's all happening because he didn't play in the GF.

Yep, his utterly selfish desire to see his child born led his family down a path of debauchery, crime and ultimately, death.

The most important thing is, who will play Jolly in the movie?

You've been here 10 days and you're already quoting yourself, that's game. :)

For the movie it would be great to get Mel "No jews is good jews" Gibson on board to play the neo-nazi with the cigarette butt.

Big Darren could be played by Roland Roccacelli :thumbsu:

On the other hand, he gets to develop some new life skills and meet some nice new friends
