About the breakdown of relationship. He used a marriage breakup as an analogy. He said that last year Akermanis was our best and fairest, was given a role in the Leadership group and seemed to suddenly want to play in Melbourne. I ask those who has not been supportive of the club over this issue to at least admit that he answered with class and dignity and did not once trash Akermanis or even imply anything improper about Akermanis.

And yes LL loved those one word answers.

That man always makes me feel better, no matter how upset about a loss I could always find solace in Big Daddy.

So what do you think we'll get from the Gold Coast Kangaroos for each?

I 'll be happy with Wells, Swallow and their first rounder!;)

They also asked if he had his time over would he have handled it any better. He said he had thought about that often but did not really have an answer.

He was also contacted by St Kilda but said he was at Brisbane and did not imagine he could coach anywhere else as his loyalties are here.

He discussed Browny injuries and said they where more wear and tear and they would be looking for Browny to play in the forward third only.

And again loved those one word answers.:thumbsu:.

He also said that Nig was such a good player that they hoped he could be a Robert Harvey type in terms of longevity.

 and he thinks we may not have Vossy next season. He said that in an around about sort of way. Do other agree with me that he implied that Vossy may retire?

His answer was something along the lines "the fact that he(Voss) is taking so long to consider whether he is going to continue seems to indicate that he will probably not play next season. He did say the playing group would be better if Voss continued.

VT, I can empathize with your feelings but the way I look at it, Vossy owes us nothing.

We owe him.:)

I agree with this. Troppo worded Mathews musings correctly and that is what
I expect he is keen on, Vossy's influance on the developing younger players. But as you say luthor we owe Michael. He has given us supporters everything we could wish for. I respect whatever he decides.
