The Brisbane Lions have another potential father-son draftee for 2024 after defender Robert Copeland and his wife Felicity had their first child on Friday morning.

Brock Robert Copeland entered the world at 11.30am, weighing in at 6lb 14oz.

All the family are doing well, and the Lions are delighted for mum and dad.

Robert Copeland has played 109 matches, including two premierships, since making his debut off the rookie list in 2001.

Brock Copeland
There's a name to strike fear into any CHF.

Gees, cutting it a bit fine. Being last week of September, didn't he think we'd be playing the GF this year.

Darryl White has a couple of boys too I think.

Funny you should mention that. Got talking to a bloke a couple of weeks back and he told me he coached them at The Vultures and they are very advanced for their age.

During Browny's enforced lay-off injury, I hope he was working hard towards contributing F/S options in the future. ;)

We'll even offer genetic screening to make sure that the babies conceived are boys, if they so choose.

a mate of mine, lakey, coaches the vultures (seniors) and whitey's kids are always on the sideliness having a kick - the eldest looks like he's inherited his old man's marking ability
