Large percentage wanted the board so it is gonna happen
Purely for threads completely non footy, non Brisbane Lions associated exceot the fact that we are all supporters in there.
Now we just gotta name it.
It is a public poll so we can see if anyone from "outside tried to infiltrate! It is also multiple choice if you like more than one suggestion.
Have posted a poll with suggestions from the other thread and have offered an other option but if you pick this please tell me what your idea is.

For 'Other' I'd go something to do with Strawbs.....he's just way fun for us to pick on. :D

Well done LL!! I have a feeling most of my random ramblings will end up here. Although i really like 'coff Pies supporters, i did vote for "The Den". It's simple, we wont get sick of it (unlike maybe Forrest Gump or Assorted mixed nuts for example), and it is distinctively lions. :thumbsu:
I am open to other suggestions however, and will change my vote if someone comes up with an even better name.

I had liked the idea of 'coff Pies supporters, but I don't want to be thinking of Collingwood every time I click on the link, so I've changed my mind.
I like the doughnuts and sauce dispensers theme, but will that become outdated?

Went for "The Den". Always best to avoid in-house or running jokes. Otherwise some bad puns involving "Roar" or "lion" would be worth considering.

'The Den,' would be the most appropriate, but everything related to the Lions is always called 'the Den.' This is just personal opinion (and i have only been participating in this forum for a few weeks - so i would have less credibility then most here) but how about something like, Panthera leo, which i believe is latin for lion. It would make us all look smart, like scientists....or professors..with a footy sense...we could change the world!!

LOL - thank you. It is nice to know that your first impressions last.....or maybe in this case...uncomforting to know. Oh, and i don't sleep with the greyhounds anymore, nowadays, i sleep in Aker's ceiling, and when all are asleep, i whisper, 'get a kick.'

I had no choice but to vote for Donuts 'R Us.

Now see I would have gone with other - but can't remember the FABULOUS names I came up with whilst out on the sauce the other night. But trust me, they were REALLY good!
So instead, I'll settle for the majority rules choice - but I bags the best spot at the bar and hope we've got a good bar tender lined up to keep em coming while we're chatting away about all and sundry!

Hah!! Mate considering I tend to have a couple before even arriving (anywhere that is, not just the football or a message board for the matter either), I'd be more likely to jump the bar, knock the bloke out, and start serving myself - just to be sure I was getting what I ordered!!
I'm not really a violent person, just a little over protective of my drinking habits...............really.........

effing captain morgans sewer juice they reckoned they were gonna give me! "We have bundy but can't open it till we finish off this bottle".....
Yeah right! As I told them in no uncertain terms there was no way I was going to help them finish that bottle of vile liquid!
Now if there had been no VB as a an emergency backup for me............well let's just say the Lions wouldn't have lost the game that night.....they probably would have had to have a replay after the Stadium was cleared under threat of an explosion..................my bloody exploding head!
